Once part of the Old Windsor Tapestries factory, this Grade II listed home dates to 1876, when artisans restored Queen Victoria’s treasured tapestries. Within moments of entering, you feel the quiet grace of the past mingling with the ease of modern life. Sunlight filters through tall windows, catching the details of restored architecture and inviting you to slow down and settle in. Sleeping arrangements Four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms span three floors, each offering a peaceful retreat. On the first floor, two rooms feature King beds with soft linens and space to unwind. The second floor holds a Double bedroom tucked beneath sloped ceilings, and on the ground floor, a Single bedroom offers a quiet corner for rest. A large sofa bed in the living room sleeps two additional guests, ensuring room for everyone to feel at home. Living and dining Gather in the spacious lounge, where a deep-seated corner sofa and widescreen Smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, Disney+, and YouTube make evenings relaxed and easy. The dining table seats up to ten, perfect for shared meals after a day exploring Windsor Castle or LEGOLAND. Kitchen & dining The integrated kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals: an induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. Whether you’re brewing morning coffee or serving a family dinner, it’s designed for effortless cooking. Bathrooms Two bathrooms, each with walk-in showers and a freestanding bathtub, bring calm to your morning or evening routine. A separate ground floor toilet adds convenience for larger groups. Outdoor living Step out to the courtyard garden, a private outdoor space framed by greenery. Enjoy breakfast at the patio table, an evening barbecue, or a quiet soak in the hot tub - available for £150 per stay and seating up to five people. Beyond the courtyard, communal gardens stretch across the historic grounds of The Tapestries, offering open views and a sense of timeless quiet. Amenities and essentials You’ll have two private parking spaces, fast Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace for remote days. The home is dog-friendly, so dogs are welcome to join your stay. Thoughtful touches include free washer and dryer access, towels and bed linens, room-darkening shades, and safety features such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Neighborhood Set within the well-kept grounds of the former Old Windsor Tapestries factory, the house lies in a peaceful enclave surrounded by gardens. From here, Windsor Castle is just five minutes away, LEGOLAND three miles, and Lapland UK seven miles. Traditional pubs, scenic walks along the Thames, and the quiet charm of Old Windsor make this home a welcoming base for exploring and unwinding in equal measure. Other things to note RULES: *This property is not suitable for parties! *This is a breach of house rules & will result in immediate removal from the property via security and no refund, your deposit may be used towards extra costs in removing you. This house is in a quiet area, so after 10 pm, the quiet times are to be respected. *We have a strict NO-SMOKING indoors policy at our properties. A standard charge of £1000 will be charged to your card when we find evidence of smoking within the accommodation to cover cleaning costs and long-lasting damage on the property. *Any loud music, parties, and smoking indoors will also result in immediate removal from the accommodation as we will be highlighted via our noise and air monitoring systems located in the property. *For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping can be arranged for a further fee. *We have a blink ring door camera outside at the front door of the property overlooking the front porch and another at the back of the house overlooking the car park, this is for the safety of our guests and the property. It must not be tampered with at any time. We require completion of our reservation form which includes an agreement to our T&Cs, provision of a government-issued photo ID, and a card pre-authorisation of £395 for potential damage, loss or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. We will not charge an amount from the £395 unless upon checkout there is evidence of damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. EXTRAS: If you require an extra night or wish to extend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make sure the dates are available and book you in. Need a late check-out? Send us a message & we will do out best to arrange it for you. HOT TUB We are excited to announce that we will adding a HOT TUB to the beautiful courtyard garden from mid July 2025. It will seat up to 5 people max. It is an optional extra at £150 per stay which can added via the Airbnb resolution centre after booking. Our guests are welcome to use it if they wish. We understand that not all guests want to use a hot tub, so we do not include it in the price. PARKING: The property benefits from having 2 free private parking space directly outside the house. There is free street parking on the road and near-by streets also, should you need to park more than one car. ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY: To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ night’s stay) at an additional cost.
