Indoors, the house feels calm and grounded, a place where winter days unfold slowly and evenings invite you to settle in, warm and unhurried, after time spent exploring Windsor and the Thames nearby. The space This Grade II listed home, once part of the Old Windsor Tapestries factory dating back to 1876, blends preserved character with everyday comfort. The spacious lounge is arranged for relaxed evenings, with a deep-seated corner sofa and a 48-inch HDTV offering Netflix and premium cable. A large dining table seats up to ten, ideal for lingering meals and shared conversations on colder nights. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace in a common area make it easy to balance downtime with remote work. Sleeping arrangements The house sleeps up to 9 guests across four bedrooms and a sofa bed. On the first floor, two bedrooms each feature a king bed. The second floor includes a double bedroom set beneath sloped ceilings, while the ground floor offers a single bedroom tucked away for quieter rest. A sofa bed in the living room sleeps two additional guests. Kitchen & dining The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, with ample space to prepare everything from simple breakfasts to full family dinners. Whether you’re warming up after a crisp day outdoors or enjoying a slow morning inside, the layout supports easy, comfortable meals together. Bathrooms There are two bathrooms with walk-in showers and bathtubs, along with a separate ground-floor toilet, offering flexibility and convenience for groups. Outdoor space Step outside to the private courtyard garden, a sheltered space that feels especially inviting in winter for fresh air between cozy indoor moments. Seating and a BBQ are available, and the hot tub can be added for £150 per stay. The hot tub is available year-round and operates between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Guests also have access to communal gardens across the historic grounds. Amenities & extras The home includes free washer and dryer access, bathroom essentials, bed linens, room-darkening shades, and home safety features. Two private parking spaces and self check-in via keypad make arrival simple. The property is pet-friendly, so dogs are welcome to join your stay. Neighborhood Set within the peaceful grounds of the former tapestry works, the house is just minutes from Windsor Castle, with LEGOLAND and Lapland UK a short drive away. Scenic walks, traditional pubs, and the quiet charm of Old Windsor make this a comfortable base for winter getaways and relaxed group stays alike. Other things to note RULES: *This property is not suitable for parties! *This is a breach of house rules & will result in immediate removal from the property via security and no refund, your deposit may be used towards extra costs in removing you. This house is in a quiet area, so after 10 pm, the quiet times are to be respected. *We have a strict NO-SMOKING indoors policy at our properties. A standard charge of £1000 will be charged to your card when we find evidence of smoking within the accommodation to cover cleaning costs and long-lasting damage on the property. *Any loud music, parties, and smoking indoors will also result in immediate removal from the accommodation as we will be highlighted via our noise and air monitoring systems located in the property. *For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping can be arranged for a further fee. *We have a blink ring door camera outside at the front door of the property overlooking the front porch and another at the back of the house overlooking the car park, this is for the safety of our guests and the property. It must not be tampered with at any time. We require completion of our reservation form which includes an agreement to our T&Cs, provision of a government-issued photo ID, and a card pre-authorisation of £395 for potential damage, loss or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. We will not charge an amount from the £395 unless upon checkout there is evidence of damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. EXTRAS: If you require an extra night or wish to extend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make sure the dates are available and book you in. Need a late check-out? Send us a message & we will do out best to arrange it for you. HOT TUB We are excited to announce that we will adding a HOT TUB to the beautiful courtyard garden from mid July 2025. It will seat up to 5 people max. It is an optional extra at £150 per stay which can added via the Airbnb resolution centre after booking. Our guests are welcome to use it if they wish. We understand that not all guests want to use a hot tub, so we do not include it in the price. PARKING: The property benefits from having 2 free private parking space directly outside the house. There is free street parking on the road and near-by streets also, should you need to park more than one car. ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY: To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ night’s stay) at an additional cost.
