Built in 1876 as part of the Old Windsor Tapestries factory, it has been carefully restored to honour its heritage character while delivering all the space and comfort a group of nine needs. Sloped ceilings, original architectural details, and a private courtyard garden make this a place you'll feel as much as stay in. Sleeping arrangements Four bedrooms spread across three floors give the house a natural sense of space and privacy. Two king-size bedrooms sit on the first floor, a double bedroom with sloped ceilings occupies the second floor, and a single bedroom is tucked away on the ground floor. The living room's large sofa bed sleeps two additional guests, bringing total capacity to nine. Living & dining A deep-seated corner sofa and a 48-inch HDTV with Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and premium cable anchor the lounge - making it easy to settle in after a day out. The dining table seats up to ten, so shared mealtimes are never a squeeze whether you've returned from a castle tour or a riverside walk. Kitchen Cooking for a group is straightforward here. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Bertazzoni stainless steel double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and all the basics you'd expect - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper. A coffee maker handles mornings, and a hot water kettle is always at the ready. Barbecue utensils are available for outdoor cooking in the courtyard. Outdoor living The private, fully fenced backyard courtyard offers a sheltered setting with outdoor furniture and a dedicated dining area - ideal for long autumn evenings with a drink in hand. A BBQ grill is on-site for al fresco cooking. A private hot tub is available for an additional fee of £150 per stay, accessible daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM - perfect for unwinding after a full day of sightseeing. For families A paid crib and pack 'n play are always on-site, alongside a standalone high chair with straps and food tray, window guards, children's books and toys, and board games. This is a genuinely family-ready home. For dogs Well-behaved dogs are welcome at this property for a fee of £30 per pet. Practical details Two private parking spaces and self check-in via keypad make arrival smooth and flexible. Fast Wi-Fi (73 Mbps, verified) and a dedicated workspace keep you connected throughout your stay. In-building washer and dryer, iron, drying rack, room-darkening shades, and generous clothing storage across closets and dressers round out everyday convenience. The Thames is close by for riverside walks, and the broader Home Counties are easily reachable from here. Safety The home is fitted with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher. Exterior security cameras are positioned at the front door and garden entrance facing the car park - in place for guest safety and property security when unoccupied. Other things to note RULES: *This property is not suitable for parties! *This is a breach of house rules & will result in immediate removal from the property via security and no refund, your deposit may be used towards extra costs in removing you. This house is in a quiet area, so after 10 pm, the quiet times are to be respected. *We have a strict NO-SMOKING indoors policy at our properties. A standard charge of £1000 will be charged to your card when we find evidence of smoking within the accommodation to cover cleaning costs and long-lasting damage on the property. *Any loud music, parties, and smoking indoors will also result in immediate removal from the accommodation as we will be highlighted via our noise and air monitoring systems located in the property. *For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping can be arranged for a further fee. *We have a blink ring door camera outside at the front door of the property overlooking the front porch and another at the back of the house overlooking the car park, this is for the safety of our guests and the property. It must not be tampered with at any time. We require completion of our reservation form which includes an agreement to our T&Cs, provision of a government-issued photo ID, and a card pre-authorisation of £395 for potential damage, loss or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. We will not charge an amount from the £395 unless upon checkout there is evidence of damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. Send us a message & we will do out best to arrange it for you. HOT TUB We are excited to announce that we will adding a HOT TUB to the beautiful courtyard garden from mid July 2025. It will seat up to 5 people max. It is an optional extra at £150 per stay which can added via the Airbnb resolution centre after booking. Our guests are welcome to use it if they wish. We understand that not all guests want to use a hot tub, so we do not include it in the price. PARKING: The property benefits from having 2 free private parking space directly outside the house. There is free street parking on the road and near-by streets also, should you need to park more than one car. ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY: To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ night’s stay) at an additional cost.
