A warm welcome awaits you at Dar al Fananna 'The artists house' our traditional Moroccan home on the edge of the Sahara in M'hamid at Ghizlane. You can enjoy our peaceful home and garden, home cooked moroccan food and hospitality, and take a camel or 4x4 trip out to the desert with our expert desert guides ( you can also find reviews of our desert tours on trip advisor under camp Sahara desert tours at Dar al Fannana) Please note that our price includes breakfast and tea on arrival The space Simple, traditional Moroccan desert home, expect an authentic experience of sitting on cushions on the floor, and eating home cooked Moroccan food accompanied by endless glasses of Moroccan tea! The only modern thing we have is our spotless and newly built toilet and shower block, which is a treat after a hot and dusty journey Guest access We are resident in the house and have our private room but everywhere else is open to you. Katherine is often away for work in the UK but Abdol is always at home. During your stay There will always be one of us on hand to give info and help if needed. Abdol has lived here in the desert all his life and his knowledge and experience are wide and always generously shared Other things to note Please be aware that we have cats living here. We also have our two camels, Sami and Campbell stabled next door for camel trips out to the desert or just a sunset ride through the palmerie if you prefer.
