Nearby quiet country roads are perfect for meandering walks and a dedicated conversation area is available out front for catching up with a friend or cozying up with a good book. There is a private Lake access 2-minute walk away. And there are accesses all along this road. After a beautiful day in cottage country, gather around the firepit for storytelling, marshmallow roasting, and stargazing. NOTE: Approx. 60 stairs down to the Lake. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all. Other things to note All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 6, violation will result in removal without refund. Max 1 well behaved dog is allowed but must sign separate pet addendum Parking is limited to 3 vehicles Linens are available for $20/per person.
