Welcome to Ranch8 (Rancho Manuel) DR which is a 16 minute ride to 3 nearby beaches! This area is stress-free and all neighbors are like family. This small town has less than 500 residents but welcomes foreigners on a daily basis for close access to some of DR’s best beaches. The host Celeste is bi-lingual and has been renting to locals for sometime and all have loved their stay. We are MINUTES away from La Ensenada, Punta Rucia, Playa Aya beaches. Your beach-themed stay includes a private bath! The space Ranch8 is beach-themed unique hotel that is situated in the small town of Rancho Manuel of the Puerto Plata Dominican province. It is a small hotel consisting of many rooms such as this one, some with private baths and some without. This part of town is very quiet, peaceful, with not really anyone around to bother, unlike the big cities. Many stay for nearby contractor work, quick access to the beach or simply, a relaxing stay on the rural part of the country-immersing themselves in the local culture. This space in particular is very big with lots of closet and floor space for those coming with lots of outfits and wanting to spread. There are many outlets throughout the room for you and your guests to plug in any standard devices. Ranch8 is located just minutes away from some nearby beaches known as La Ensenada which welcomes many tourists daily, Punta Rucia which is just down the street, and Playa Aya (my favorite). Each beach has its own unique ambience tailored to suit any type of mood you are in. Everyone is very friendly, especially around the property. If you ever have any questions, even throughout your stay, do not hesitate to reach out and we’ll be sure your stay is phenomenal. Guest access Guests will have access to the main/front lobby (the many chairs/recliners) - get your beach-themed pictures in by the furniture before heading out for the beach! You will also have key access to your private room. Other things to note * For everyone’s safety, outside doors are locked at 11 PM, please plan to arrive before then (nothing is open after dark any ways) * Each room is equipped with 1 or more fans - feel free to use whenever warm or to blow mosquitos away from you * Water pressure may be low in some rooms due to ongoing water maintenance around this part of town * In smaller towns like this one, there is not much hot water if any at all. If you are not prepared to take a cold shower, please reconsider your stay in DR as most small suburban and rural towns in DR are like this (cold showers are quite nice in DR’s hot/summer temperatures/seasons) * Across the country, power is bound to come and go. Although it does not happen often in this part of town, give it some time and it will be restored automatically * WiFi may at times go a bit slow, give it time and it will return soon enough for regular use * If something is not working as you expect it or as described please let us know and we will accommodate for your request to ensure your stay is pleasant * If you need any tips/tricks to get around the area/city or get to some other destination, do not hesitate to reach out and we will provide you with our recommendation
