Second to last on a small, secluded village road, you will find this little oasis with a large, beautiful garden and only 4 km to miles of child-friendly beaches! Well-equipped kitchen with gas stove, herb garden, large open property, dining table, BBQ and opportunities for sunbathing on both sides. In Borrby, you will find a grocery store, pharmacy, cinema, bakery and a really good restaurant! Everything within about 1.5 km distance. The kitchen and living room with a lovely wood-burning stove are the heart of the house, and with all the large windows, you have wonderful contact with nature. The house is located second to last on our small village road, so it is quiet and child-friendly. KITCHEN There is most of what you need here. I don't think you'll be lacking anything, from a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, rice cooker, toaster to an oyster knife, etc., etc., but please ask before arrival so you'll know for sure. Use our spices, grains, and oils! We will be happy if you replace anything that runs out, so the next guest can also take advantage of this service. The house is surrounded by open landscapes. The property is 2,800 sqm and has large, nice lawns suitable for games and relaxation. We grow and sow in our garden, and you are welcome to taste the berries and use the fresh herbs! BEDROOMS Bedroom 1 is located on the first floor. It is bright and airy with its own patio door to the south-facing wooden deck. Here, there is a comfortable 160 cm bed, bedside tables, lamps, a small mirror, a ceiling fan, an ironing board, an iron, clothes storage and blackout curtains. And a small, nice work space with a bookshelf and a black-and-white printer. Bedroom 2 is a small and cozy bedroom located on the first floor with windows overlooking the beautiful garden. It has a comfortable 160 cm bed, lamps, a mirror, a bookcase, a small fan, a bedside table, clothes storage and blackout curtains. Bedroom 3 is upstairs and has beautiful natural light from both the French balcony door and the beautiful glass doors. Here, there is a comfortable 160 cm bed, bedside table, mirror, lamps, junior bed, baby bed, clothing storage and a ceiling fan. Above the stairs, there is a nice reading corner with books and games, and an armchair to relax in. All rooms are cozy and decorated with care. The bedrooms have new, comfortable fiber duvets and two fiber pillows/person. /Bed linens and bath towels are included in the rental rate./ BATHROOMS Fully tiled bathroom with nice stone floor. Shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer. FOR CHILDREN A high chair, a baby high chair and a step stool for slightly older children, a junior bed, a baby bed, bed linens, a potty and a baby bathtub are available. And of course, we have a small play area with Lego, books and some other fun stuff! OTHER Pets. Due to allergies, we can unfortunately only accept dogs and they MUST be house-trained. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the beds or other furniture!! A long leash with a screw to put in the ground is located to the right inside the front door. OUTDOOR A solar-heated outdoor shower is available and is in operation at the same time as the pool ☀️ Plunge POOL Nice, small plunge pool (2x3 m) with a nice wooden deck and mandatory pool cover. The pool is open for use from around mid-June to mid-September. Note: Depending on the weather and availability of water, the period may be shortened/extended. We reserve the right to keep the pool closed due to the above or for technical reasons. /For everyone's comfort, and to keep the chlorine at the right level, we ask you to always shower before swimming in the pool 🐠 and not to use sunscreen immediately beforehand. If you have children in diapers, special swim diapers must be used./ At the back, there is a large dining set (seat cushions are by the sofa) with space for about 10-12 people. At the front, there is a smaller table and a comfortable rattan sofa with cushions to relax on. Perfect spot for breakfast and to enjoy watching the pheasant family that strolls by sometimes! The cushions should be brought inside at night and when it rains! On the short side of the house, there is a black cushion box containing three thicker seat cushions for the outdoor sofa. Other cushions + decorative blanket for the seat cushions are by the window in the living room. Sun loungers/deck chairs are available and can be moved around as desired. (The sun loungers are put away by us before the fall season and put out again during the month of May.) We just built a pergola in the front with a sunshade "roof" and some nice solar-powered lights. A really cozy spot to relax in. BBQ. Clothesline. Garden hose. GAMES/PLAY Bocce and some other fun outdoor games for both adults and children. Swing set for the younger children, a tricycle for the little ones and a "kiddie pool" for very small children. FRONT DOOR Verisure alarm, YaleDoorman with code lock. The day before your arrival, you will receive your own personal code to enter and to turn the alarm on/off. The entrance is at the back of the house. The house was ready for occupancy in the spring of 2021, and we are furnishing and developing it as we go. For example, we are planning to build an outdoor kitchen, but at the time of writing, we don't dare say when it will be ready. Newly built studio of 20 square meters with large, beautiful windows and a fantastic view. Sleeping loft with a small window, 2x80 cm beds, shower room/toilet on the ground floor, and a small kitchenette with the possibility to make a cup of coffee. Meals are prepared in the big house. The studio is located about 8 meters from the main house and was built primarily to be a painting studio with a sleeping loft. The studio can be rented from June 2027 and is only rented out together with a booking of the main building. There is a "staircase" up to the sleeping loft, so it is best suited for fully mobile people. The sleeping loft is not suitable for children. Dogs are not allowed in the studio due to the artist's materials. If you want to book this, you can do so via the other listing. Let us know and we'll help you! Guest access You have the entire house to yourselves, except for a closet in the hallway, as well as a couple of drawers/shelves that are marked "Private." Other things to note We ask that you respect any irrigation bans and do not waste the water. Electricity. Charging poles for electric cars are available at ICA in Borrby. Note: Do not charge from the house as it can cause electrical failure. We are planning to install an electrical pole in the summer of 2027. The pool. Mandatory rule. According to Swedish law, pool covers must be in place when you do not have a clear view of the pool and must be properly attached. Also, do not leave the pool unattended when children or non-swimmers are nearby. During the rental period, guests are responsible for using the pool cover in accordance with the instructions provided as a PDF upon arrival. Drive slowly (15 km/h) on our small village road; small children and animals can appear! And finally, we humbly ask you to be considerate of our neighbors, who are also enjoying their vacation!
