The Kingfisher' Nest - tranquil Riverside Cottage

The Kingfisher's Nest is a carefully converted barn on the bank of Cowesby Beck . You'll be lulled to sleep by the sound of the steam in this tranquil location deep in the countryside! The space Inside we have a spacious living room with a pull-out sofa bed, dining area, kitchen area with fridge, oven andh hob unit ,sink and worktops.There is a separate bedroom with en suite bathroom. There is ample parking, a large lawn area, and a paved patio with table and chairs . A barbecue is provided. The 'hot tub' is a an original victorian bath with taps in the middle , comfortable for two people. Hot water is supplied by a wood fired boiler with some wood provided for guests. Guest access The cottage has it's own private lawn, patio and bathing area overlooking the stream. Other things to note There is a Border collie on the site who is friendly enough but please let us know if you would like us to restrict their movements. In the winter months , if the temperature drops below minus 2 degrees celcius the outside tub may not be available due to freezing pipework.
