The KingJay #31/32 in The Pines is a 3 bedroom / 2 bath multi-level authentic A-Frame Chalet in Lake George. Enjoy everything at the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge resort property, including SAUNA cabin, outdoor pool, game room, bonfire pit and more. This cozy accommodation with pine finish and cathedral loft is perfect for the extended family or friend group, with two separate suites in one. Enjoy the evening from our raised deck or relaxing in Adirondack chairs at your private fire circle. The space Here at the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, this is our popular 3 bedroom 2 full bath forest A-frame style chalet for the spring, summer and fall season. This accommodation has two separate suites in one A-Frame, allowing for privacy between family members and friends, yet share in the stay in the same building. The ground floor level of the chalet is known as the Kinglet #31and is accessible without any steps and is a complete suite with kitchen, living area with sitting area and TV, bath with a stand up shower and a queen hickory log bed in the bedroom. There is a patio space under the middle floor deck, and a bonfire pit in the trees across the driveway. The larger 2-level suite, known as the Jay #32, is accessed via the exterior stairs from the driveway to the middle floor. At the top of the stairs is a small deck spanning the width of the A-Frame. The middle floor level deck includes some patio seating and swing chair, and overlooks your private bonfire space. On the interior of the chalet, the first floor level includes a modest sized living room with wall mounted smart TV, kitchen, dining area for 6, bath w/ stand up shower, and a private bedroom with a queen bed. A set of steep stairs leads to the loft section of the A-Frame, featuring two twin beds and a flat screen TV (smart TV Hulu channels / Roku). Both levels of the chalet are cooled by ductless mini-split units on two floors and a wall a/c in the loft. The A-frame is heated by the mini-split ductless units with supplemental electric baseboard heaters. The space is well appointed in the Adirondack style and offers all the comforts of home, and the kitchens have basic cookware and dinnerware. If you are in need of a specific item that may not be a standard addition to a cabin kitchen, please ask us in advance, or bring it along. Parking is right outside the chalet. This accommodation has access to all of the resort amenities. Guest laundry is seasonally available on the ADK Lodge property from May through mid October. Please book this accommodation for 2 nights or more, and 3 nights or more during the peak summer season. If you do not see your desired dates available, please inquire so that we can help! These two suites are available separately as well, especially during the winter season, to avoid outside staircase travel between rooms. The KingJay is located on the Adirondack Diamond Point Resort property. The ADK Lodge is owned and operated by the Drake Family and offers a full complement of staff that immaculately cleans each accommodation. There are no absentee property owners, the hospitality business is our family business! The building is set aside and above the Lodge area, and enjoys some privacy, set on the upper half of our 5-acre property. Guests have access to all seasonally available amenities and the Resort grounds. The pool is generally open from the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend until the 2nd Sunday in September. We have multiple cabins or cabin units as well as Lodge suites available to serve the needs of your extended family or group event. Guest access Guests may access their cabin unit, as well as the entire resort grounds and amenities owned by the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge. The property is approximately 5 acres and includes many seasonally available amenities such as the pool and cabana, outdoor games, several fire rings and chairs, our new SAUNA CABIN, gas "party" grill, charcoal grills, playground, indoor game & community room, and guest laundry facility (late spring, summer and early fall - not available between 10/10 - 4/15). The King Jay (#31/32) is part of the Adirondack Diamond Point Resort, which includes a variety of cabins and lodge accommodations and amenities on a 5 acre property spanning both sides of Vito Rd. The main entrances and signs for the resort are located on Lake Shore Drive. The Pines is the end unit of a multi-space authentic log cabin, and is located up the hill on Vito Road. Vito Road is a quiet, no-outlet side street. Instructions for Sauna use: Try our new Sauna cabin! Located below unit #25 raised deck (the one with the clear panels) in the Pines Section (follow sings for 28-32). the suana is housed in a small hut with a green roof. Please enjoy this new amenity! The control panel is located on the outside by the entry door. Please press the orange "P" button to start the heater, then on the digital timer enter the numer of minutes you would like to experience. When you are done, if the heat is still running, please press the "P" to turn off. ALWAYS PLEASE press the "lights" button when you leave so that the exterior light will shine at dark. The lit LED will indicate it is in the "ON" position. Thank you! Other things to note -We are not a waterfront property, however, we have some views of the lake from parts of the property and several accommodations. We do offer lakeside accommodations at another location a few minutes north of the property. -If you are traveling with a boat, ask us about our dock rental options. -Please note that this chalet is comprised of all 3 levels of living space in the A-Frame building. The middle floor level of the home is accessed via the exterior stairs to the above grade deck. On the interior, those wishing to sleep in the loft area must climb stairs with a steeper than average pitch. Just as a reminder – there is no interior stair case (due to space constraints) between the ground floor suite and the upper two floors. Guest must utilize the exterior stairs to the middle level deck. This is an excellent accommodation for spring, summer and fall. In winter, we offer the #31 and #32 accommodations separately for more flexibility and to avoid outside stair case travel. They can of course be reserved together at any time. -Our pet policy: We allow up to one animal, under 50 lbs and at least one year in age. There is a pet fee applicable to your stay. While a guest with us, animals must not be left unattended in your accommodation unless crated, are not allowed on furniture or bedding, and any “business” must be cleaned up by pet parents. The department of Health regulations do not allow dogs at pools or the game room. Guests must select "Pet" when reserving.
