The space Welcome to the cozy Twinbrook hideaway, a private retreat in Rockville close to both DC and Baltimore. The homey apartment offers everything you would want for either a weekend escape or a long-term stay. For your arrival day, check-in is quick and easy with a key lockbox of which you will be provided with a code a few days before arrival to enter the unit anytime after 4 pm. The unit is equipped with a cute coffee bar with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster, as seen in the photos and the amenities description. Complimentary starter coffee pods, tea bags, and snacks are available in the kitchenette. Note: this is not a traditional kitchen. There is no oven or kitchen sink, but you can warm up your food and refrigerate it (Airbnb’s definition of a kitchenette.)There are also numerous restaurants or delivery services and grocery stores nearby to enjoy. The living room is equipped with multiple seating areas including a dining table, full size sleeper sofa, and massage recliner. There is a fire tv with multiple streaming services to watch a movie or listen to music. The backyard includes a lighted patio area. There is also a small dining table to enjoy the outdoors. There are two bedrooms each with closets for plenty of clothing storage. One room features a queen bed, dresser and in room TV. The other room features two twin beds and a small desk which is perfect for those travelers that need a workspace. We would also like to point out that the ceilings are a bit lower in this unit than traditional apartments. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire basement apartment as well as the outdoor patio/backyard Other things to note Pets are permitted, but there is a $50 pet fee that will be added. We will provide a pet pillow, litter box and water bowl for use during your stay. Pets will also have access to the fenced in backyard. Also, understand we reside upstairs. You may hear walking and some normal living noises are inevitable. That also allows us to respond to anything you need quickly.
