Built in 1901 in Shelby County, it was numbered, disassembled, moved and reconstructed here. This rustic cabin has ample sleeping capability; a queen sized bed in the upstairs loft and downstairs you’ll find a trundle day bed to sleep two. Built in 1901 in Shelby County, it was numbered, disassembled, moved and reconstructed here. This rustic cabin has ample sleeping capability; a queen sized bed in the upstairs loft and downstairs you’ll find a trundle day bed. The two sofas also expand to sofa beds (in a pinch) and can be used with a large group (additional fees). With a candlelit fireplace, full kitchen, and cozy dining room, you can set up camp here for an extended stay. It also has front and back porches, and the rear porch has a panoramic view of the Angelina River. With plenty of outdoor seating, two grills, and a fire pit, this is one of our favorite spots to watch the sunset. Guest access You'll check in at our main house (at the far end of the driveway - follow the string lights!) and we'll provide you credentials, tour the space with you and point out amenities. During your stay We're a traditional bed and breakfast so when you check-in, you're essentially in our home and we’ll be cooking your breakfast! Upon booking, you should receive a text from us confirming contact info and allowing us to communicate with each other directly, both up to, and during your stay. Other things to note We need to emphasize that (1) we're a traditional bed and breakfast property so we are onsite and (2) we are a non-smoking property. Violations of the smoking policy will result in a $500 fine. Prohibited products include but are not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and waterpipes (hookahs). "Smoking" includes all lighted or heated tobacco products including hookah and marijuana, as well as the use of electronic smoking devices - no cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, or any other method.
