This property is a recent complete renovation of a 100 year old home site with hiking, fishing, and mountain bike trails in close proximity. George Washington National Forest and Blue Hole are within walking distance and Harrisonburg is only 10 miles away. This is a cabin lovers dream. The space You will have private access to a gentle mountain stream from the large back screened in porch. The porch is large and spacious, allowing you to spread out, relax, and unwind in this serene location. My family acquired this home several years ago and set upon remodeling and molding the space to maximize the panoramic views of the water. This home has become a space for our family and friends to get away from the worries of the world and surround themselves with the calming and healing presence of nature. This lovely cabin is an easy walk to swimming holes and hiking trails making the property ideal for any of the 4 seasons that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Enjoy grilling for lunch or dinner and relaxing by the fire pit on either of the 2 patios featured on this property. If you decide to explore the surrounding area, you will find that we are only a short 10 mile drive to Harrisonburg Va where you will find wineries, breweries, museums, antiquing and sporting events at JMU, Bridgewater College, and Eastern Mennonite University. Included in this property: 2 queen size beds (on request we can offer additional beds for additional guests- added fee for additional guest will be applied upon request) Fire pit with patio seating Gas grill table and chairs available for outdoor dining TV with Fire Stick Keurig coffee maker (several pods available per stay) Fully equipped kitchen Cooking utensils Non stick pots and pans for cooking Claw foot tub for relaxing baths and stand up shower We do allow pets but will come with an additional fee. If you decline to inform us of the presence your pet, an additional fee will be added at our discretion. NO parties/events unless otherwise approved in writing to the host Other things to note Parking is located at the front of the premises with 4 spaces available. The spaces are directly before the large boulder stones in gravel by the front walk way. If you were to require more parking spaces you may request the location for more spaces and the location for those spaces will be provided to you.
