BEACHES AND SEAWALL/AQUABUS Vancouver House building is one block from the seawall which was created to stop the foreshore of Stanley Park from eroding, a stone wall known as the seawall was built around the parkland now informally, the phrase also refers to the seawall's pedestrian, bicycle, and rollerblading walkway, which has been extended well beyond Stanley Park's boundaries. Take a ride on the False Creek Ferries which are aqua buses that run between Granville Island and Sunset beach also making stops in Yaletown, Olympic Village and Science World. Throughout the summer, there are lifeguards on duty at sunset beach which is 5 min away from Vancouver House. There are neighbouring concession stalls and public restrooms. Pathways for bicycling, walking, and inline skating wind above the beach area and connect either to Yaletown or Stanley Park. South of the Olympic-sized natatorium at the Vancouver Aquatic Centre is an off-leash area. It is a well-liked spot to view Vancouver fireworks which can be seen from the comfort of the balcony at the property. GROCERY At Fresh St. Market, located at the base of the building, the supermarket's fourth site in Metro Vancouver, customers may purchase artisanal and organic food, alcohol, and necessities. The centre of the neighbourhood also houses a brand-new London Drugs store. Also, David Chang, a renowned chef and restaurateur, will also debut the city's first Momofuku Noodle Bar concept at Vancouver House. On the seawall you'll find exceptional Westcoast dining at Ancora and refined Chinese cuisine at Chang 'An. Don't miss out on the few cafes and pubs either on the seawall or street side.
