Hi! We are hostel nextdoor, a one-of-a-kind hostel in the truly stunning city of Kathmandu! This listing is for 1 bed in our 4-bed shared mixed dorms. We hope to offer you an easygoing and uplifting stay. As travelers ourselves, we understand what gets you going: draw of adventure and need for comfort. As hostellers ourselves, we know what works best: curious hosts and inspiring spaces that encourage like-minded travelers to connect on local experiences. The space All our bunk beds are designed for comfort. Each bunk is provided with reading lights, charging points, luxurious bedding, and privacy curtain. The built-in locker allows easy storage and you can lock it with your own keys for safekeeping. The dorm has a spacious shared bathroom in the hallway with two showers and two toilets. Also, we have 10+ bathrooms in the hostel, so no worries there :) We are a cosy hostel with 24 bunk-beds and three private rooms. We have a shared outdoor hostel kitchen where you may prepare your meals. We always strive to make sure our guests have space to hangout with others and to unwind. On the ground floor, we have a recreation room with board games and occasional movie nights. Our wide frontyard has picnic tables - a great place to socialize as you order from our cafe/bar . We also host multiple events, focusing on travel and sustainability, so you can get to know like-minded locals. Guest access Guests are allowed access to their dorm room and all other shared spaces at the hostel. We host a highly-rated restaurant on the property, which is open from 12pm-9pm (last kitchen order at 8pm). Other things to note We also host walking tours, scooter tours, day trips and all things trekking! Feel free to just ask us information for any of your travel plans! We really are a unique space. The hostel is founded by a team that also started NepaliTravellers, a travel foundation that also organizes the Solo Woman Travel Challenge - a travel grants platform that funds and supports solo journeys for Nepali women travellers. The foundation regularly hosts events to engage local travellers, and you can easily build connections to explore different corners of Nepal.
