The Main Cottage has sweeping ocean views porches just steps to a private deck with direct ocean access via a ramp to a 24'x12' float. Enjoy the large screened-in porch for lunch, cocktails and sunset dining. The stone patio with gas grill, fire pit, table, chairs and bench has spectacular ocean views . A large hot tub with amazing views is steps from the patio. The Guest Cottage has a deck off the entrance with a table and 4 chairs, and a smaller deck off the back door with another gas grill. The Main Cottage is a 3 BR, 1.5 bath 2,000 SF century old clapboard house with original wide pine floors and exposed beams throughout. The copper clad kitchen island, stainless steel appliances, center chimney wood-burning fireplace and panoramic ocean views from all rooms add to the comfort and charm. The west facing dining room above the deck with large windows gives a feeling of being aboard a boat. A large living room includes the fireplace and TV and a French door for ocean views and access to the screen porch. The master bedroom is stunning with 180 degree ocean views and a south facing patio out a glass door. The second bedroom provides twin beds and an open vaulted ceiling with westerly ocean views. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds with west and south water views. Sleeps 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children. The adjacent Guest Cottage is a fully equipped 2 BR, 1 bath 1000 SF clapboard house with French Doors and large windows on the first floor for sweeping ocean views. There is an open kitchen, dining and living/TV area, and a sitting room study for privacy. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have many windows and skylights with spectacular South and West views of Casco Bay and the open Atlantic. Sleeps 4. Guests have full access to waterfront, 2 double kayaks and 2 paddle boards. Life vests and jackets are provided in the locker on the Main Cottage porch. A private guest mooring is available for those arriving by boat. In addition to waterfront, guests will have full access to 20 acres of forest for exploring, hiking and biking. Owners reside in a private year round home 300 feet south along the shore and are available on as needed basis. Guests privacy is a top priority with only exception for occasional access by owners via the deck to the dinghy tied on the float to reach the boats on owners’ moorings. Sebasco Harbor Resort with a golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts, the Ledges restaurant and pub, a spa, pool and daily boat cruises is two miles away, open from early May to late October. Totman Cove Beach is less than 2 miles away. Popham Beach State Park and Spinney’s seafood restaurant are 5 miles south. Morse`s Mountain preserve with fabulous hiking trails to a beautiful private beach are about 3 miles away. There are other hiking trails, beaches, and historic sites within 3 miles. Main Cottage has electric heat in the first floor kitchen, living room and dining room, and a classic center chimney fireplace w/ seasoned firewood provided. Heat from the first floor rises through a grate in the kitchen to the bunk room and up the stairs to warm the second floor rooms. Extra quilts and blankets are provided for chilly fall nights. The Guest Cottage has an oil furnace with heat in all rooms. Ample private parking is available with both stairs and a path to the cottages. Well water is good for drinking plus 5 gallon jugs of spring water are available in the Main Cottage kitchen.
