Dating back to the 18th century, this Grade II listed former Baptist Chapel has been lovingly converted into a tastefully decorated and contemporary holiday home, which exudes luxury and comfort. Successfully combining all of its original character and charm with the modern comforts guests expect from a holiday home, the property offers a unique experience. The space On the ground floor is a fabulous open plan living space, ideal for families and friends to spend quality time together. Perfect for entertaining, the modern and well equipped kitchen boasts a huge central island with polished concrete worktops and glamorous bar stools. The dining area which is dominated by a reclaimed stone pillar, offers an opportunity for more formal dining. The double height living area, furnished with leather Chesterfield sofas and original Victorian range is the perfect place to relax and unwind. For convenience, there is also a downstairs toilet and cloakroom for coats and boots. Upstairs there are four beautifully presented bedrooms, the master of which (Superking) has flat screen TV and en-suite with toilet, shower cubicle and large vanity area with double wash basin. We have 3 other double rooms (4 in total) with one of the bedrooms being a zip in link room whereby you can choose from a Superking bed or have 2 singles. A well-appointed family bathroom completes the first floor accommodation. The galleried landing which overlooks the downstairs living area showcases exposed stone work, original timbers and two beautiful chapel windows which flood light into the property, further enhanced by the stunning light fittings. There is private parking for 3 to 4 cars and a free car park opposite for vehicles, and the entrance is down the side through two large doors. To the rear is a lovely patio with a table and chairs which is accessed via French windows from the kitchen area. Situated in one of the oldest parts of Barnoldswick, and only 100 yards away from local shops, pubs and restaurants, Old Chapel House is well located for those who like to have a wide range of amenities right on their doorstep. Perfect for those who like to be pampered, Old Chapel House is attached to The Elysium Clinic, Hair & beauty salon/spa. Converted by the same owner from a dilapidated second–hand furniture shop, guests can experience a wide range of relaxing treatments (payable extra), including Million Dollar Facials, massages, packages, nails and a full range of hair treatments. This can really add to your experience away but please be aware any treatments must be booked directly with the salon prior to arrival to avoid disappointment, please state you are guests staying at the Old Chapel House when booking.
