Peaceful & Private Cabin close to the Lake

Welcome to the spacious, sunny & beautiful Casa Del Lago (Lake House)! Perfectly situated just a short stroll to the beach in the quaint Lakeside Village of Matlock. A great escape for the whole family to enjoy! Spacious open layout, lots of windows to let the light in, roomy bedrooms, large bathroom, large decks. Sun and shade available on the property. Very clean and well kept. We prefer Friday to Friday bookings if possible. The space Our property has several zones to enjoy starting with the front deck which is a wonderful place for morning coffee, bird watching and enjoying the early day sun. The cozy sun room is great for the kids to play some games, or a quiet retreat as you start or wind down the day. The rear deck offers later day sun and shade and is a great place for el fresco dining. The hot tub is located off the dining deck and is a soothing treat to enjoy early morning quiet, or a great place to star gaze. The "sun deck" in the northeast corner is perfect for the sun lovers to enjoy the afternoon sun. The firepit area is nestled amongst the trees and private back yard. We hope you get to enjoy all of the Zones! Guest access The full cabin, yard space and hot tub are available for our guests use. We cannot guarantee that the hot tub will be available for your use, as there is not always time between reservations if the tub needs a water change. The rear fridge in the sun room can be plugged in and used if necessary. Other things to note Our cabin rental includes bath towels (please bring your own beach towels), coffee and filters for the drip coffer maker (there is also a french press available), fresh linens on the beds, extra blankets and pillows, 2 rolls of toilet paper (you can purchase more at the corner store or bring your own), dish soap, salt and pepper, sugar, drinking water (large container in the sunroom which can be refilled at the artesian well on Gimli Road) or you can drink and cook with the tap water which comes from our well which is also an artesian well, kitchen utensils and dish/serving ware. The cabinet in the sunroom has some games, puzzles and books - feel free to use these. There is firewood - please be reasonable with the use of firewood and keep the hose close by just in case. Please do not leave the A/C in dining area on if you are going to be out of the cabin for the day.
