This 3 bedroom, 1 bath, open concept lower unit of a duplex is located in Brewer's Hill. This unit has tons of natural light, original hard wood floors, pocket doors and claw foot soaking tub. This pet friendly unit has off street parking for 2 vehicles or motorcycles, and a private yard with patio and BBQ grill for your use. Walking distance to Brady Street, downtown and Fiserv Forum. The space Located in Historic Brewer's Hill just north of downtown Milwaukee, the Peacock Place was built in 1903. We are located on a quite street with off street parking, perfect for motorcycles. Walk to Brady Street, Water Street, or the Riverwalk and sample numerous bars, restaurants and unique shopping. We are 1 mile north of Fiserv Forum and the heart of downtown Milwaukee, 1 mile west of the Milwaukee lakefront, 1.5 miles north of Marquette University and 2 miles west of University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Each bedroom is carpeted and has a Queen size mattress, electric mattress pad, smart TV, USB outlets, white noise machines, bathrobes and a closet. The front and middle bedrooms are walk thru bedrooms, which means they have a connecting door between them. The open living area includes a parlor (with workspace and cocktail seating), living room (with smart tv and an electric fireplace) and dining room. High speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the unit. Enjoy coffee on the front porch or dinner grilled on the backyard patio. The bathroom has a tiled floor, original claw foot soaking tub, and contains an iron and small ironing board. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash have been provided for your convenience. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. We supply a variety of K-cup coffees, teas and hot chocolate. Although not 100% child proof, we do supply a pack n play for your use. The house has all the charm of an old Victorian, with pocket doors, 10 foot ceilings, picture rails and slightly uneven hard wood floors. The house is not childproofed (no covered outlets or secured furniture). There are 10 steps up to the front porch, and 6 steps down the backdoor to the patio. The owner's live upstairs, so please let us know if you need anything. In the summer, guests have access to owner's in-ground swimming pool, which is located across the street. The pool will be shared with the owners and their guests, therefore we cannot guarantee private access. The pool is fenced in and has a locked cover which requires a passcode to be opened. The pool has an 8 foot deep end with diving board, basketball goal in the shallow end, outdoor kitchen and bathroom. The pool is open 10am-9pm everyday between Memorial Day and Labor Day, weather permitting. This is a salt pool, and is heated all summer long. Pool floats and toys are provided. If you are riding motorcycles, please let us know how many bikes you will be parking. The driveway has a slope, and we will arrange our cars to make sure you have a flat parking area. Guest access Free off street parking is provided in a driveway shared by the owner.
