Experience the magic in this quaint Maine cottage located at the heart of the working fishing village of Port Clyde. Smell the sea breezes, walk 2 minutes to the bakery/ice cream shop, local galleries, harbor cafes, and the Monhegan Island ferry. Relax for some high quality family time. Choose from our selection of board games, shoot some hoops at the playground across the street, or experience kayaking around picturesque islands. We generally accept reservations May 1-Oct 1. The space This cottage, originally built in the 1800's, was moved from Hupper's Island to the current location in 1901. Experience the charm of living in a 19th century New England cottage, with updated amenities for convenience and comfort. Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are steep, the shower is narrow- both features of older homes in the area. Pack and Play available. The cottage is available May 1 through Oct 1. Guest access The entire cottage is yours to enjoy! Other things to note The kitchen floor and sink were updated in 2024, and a new washer-dryer combo was added. Additional paid parking is available a short walk away at the corner of Glenmere and Port Clyde Roads. Call the Monhegan Boat Line during business hours 8-5pm to reserve a spot. Cost is $8/day
