Indulge in nature in this spacious, modern, and comfortable 4-bedroom and 4.5-bathroom cabin nestled on the rugged Canadian Shield located on Dunlop Lake, 10 minutes north of Elliot Lake. Come see why we have fallen in love with this peaceful and spectacular corner of the world. The space This three-level cabin is suitable for families, multiple couples or group of friends in search of the perfect cabin getaway. Bask in the summer sunshine, fall in love with stunning colour in autumn, see what it’s like to live in a snow globe in the winter, and celebrate the earth coming back to life in the spring. The spacious cabin has a fully-stocked kitchen, a dining area, a cozy Muskoka room with wood fireplace, a dedicated work space, laundry, and a great room with towering ceilings. There are four separate bedrooms with beds for up to 12 guests, and there are 5 bathrooms. The lower level features an oversized sectional, oversized blankets, and oversized smart tv for movie nights. Set up high amongst the pine trees, the cabin has a expansive walkout deck where you can enjoy stunning views out to the lake. There is a 4 person dining table that will allow you to dine al fresco at any meal and there are Muskoka chairs for grabbing your favorite drink and simply relaxing. The deck is drenched with sun for most of the day and will grace you with a stunning sunset each night. The lower level walkout leads to a large fire pit where there is plenty of space to gather under the stars, roast marshmallows and listen to the loons call. Following the stairs down to the lake, drop your towel and dive right in as the lake is 30 ft deep off the dock. Lake noodles and life jackets are available. If chilling isn’t in your DNA, borrow our canoes and SUPs and go explore all the beauty the lake has to offer. Better yet, pack a lunch, grab some drinks, and have an adventure on the nearby island of your choice. There are even opportunities to portage to neighbouring lakes if you’re up for the ultimate adventure. And for those that love naps, the hammock on the point is the perfect place to curl up and snooze. The nearby town of Elliot Lake has two beautiful sand beaches, miles of hiking and ski trails, a charming ski hill, restaurants, full-service grocery stores, LCBO, gas, pharmacies, and shopping - all just 10 min away. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin as well as use of the fire pit, dock, SUPs, and both canoes on the property. Please note, only the guests listed at the time of reservation are to be on the property or in the cabin. There are to be no visitors or additional guests at any time. Other things to note Being amongst so much nature, there is a plethora of things to do depending on the time of year. Spring + Summer: There are over 4000 lakes in the area which you can explore, paddle, swim in or fish. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area as well as some amazing family-friendly beaches and some great parks for kids. Winter: Downhill ski at Mt Dufour, cross-country ski in town, hit one of the many snowmobile trails or maybe try your hand at ice fishing. There is access to gorgeous snowshoe local trails across the road or you can snowshoe over the lake. Keep in mind, sitting fireside in the cabin with your favorite book and hot drink is also a perfect winter activity. Fall: The Algoma highlands are blessed with the most jaw-dropping fall colours in the entire world. Hike up to the Fire Tower Lookout to enjoy amazing views, or drive up the 108 and get lost in mind-blowing forests of red, orange, yellow, and green.
