Gran's Place

This newly renovated 4th generation family farmhouse sitting on 13 acres is centrally located in Russell Springs, just minutes from Lake Cumberland. We are just off the Cumberland Parkway (a short and easy drive to both Columbia and Somerset), close to Russell County Hospital, and within a mile to most fast-food chains, restaurants, gas, and grocery. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible while visiting the Lake Cumberland area. We do ask that there be no smoking in the home. The space Our home is unique because it has been in the Bernard family for 100 years. Back in the early 1920’s our grandfather, who had just recently returned home from World War I, married our grandmother. They moved into a two room farm house. As the years passed their family grew to include seven children, so they added more rooms to the old house. Needless to say this old farm house has all the charm and character of a much loved home. Guest access All of the main level and the upstairs of the house will be available. Also the deck, the front porch, and the back of the yard (where the firepit is located) will be available. The garage will not be available. Other things to note The house is centrally located. It is also 8 miles from The Barn at Goose Creek, 15 miles from Lindsey Wilson College, and 22 miles from Central Ky Ag/Expo Center. The Barn at Cedar Grove is 24 miles away. EV fast charging station is a block away.
