Set in a beautiful location surrounded by open countryside within easy reach of good local pubs, Goodwood, Petworth and the Surrey Hills - a perfect retreat to explore the best of West Sussex and Surrey The space The Cartshed has recently been completely refurbished and designed to be cosy and luxurious, with all the comforts that help to make it feel like home. There are two generous light bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other two single beds, all of which have cosy throws for those cold winter nights. Both rooms also have a mirror, a chest and hangers for clothing. One salon style hairdryer is also provided. The shared bathroom is beautifully refurbished with a large walk-in shower, mirror, fresh towels and a range of Scottish Sea Kelp products. The kitchen/lounge is fully equipped for an intimate dinner, watching TV or a lazy afternoon playing games on the sofa, or simply gazing over the courtyard onto the fields. The kitchen has an oven, grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, double hob, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. There is also a full range of glasses, Emma Bridgewater crockery and standard kitchen utensils. Outside the Cartshed is the courtyard with table and chairs , there is access to a small private garden. Beautiful countryside walks and bike rides are available directly from your doorstep. The Cartshed is strictly no smoking or vaping. The owners We live in the farmhouse (approx. 30m from The Cartshed) with Monty and Doug our dogs and are around most of the time or available via text to help with local places to eat, things to do, taxis, walks etc. Guest access Guests have access to the Cartshed, the courtyard and a small private garden. Other things to note Whilst dog lovers ourselves, given we have just completed a full refurbishment of The Cartshed we have decided, for the time being at least, to make the property an animal free zone. The Cartshed is opposite the swimming pool area (currently not available to guests), which is both gated and walled, and there is a natural pond and open water field ditches in the private land surrounding the farmhouse. Therefore, young children would need to be supervised outside There is WIFI at the property and depending on your carrier, there is a mobile phone signal. There is a Smart TV with a full range of terrestrial channels and Netflix. The property is private, however if bringing bikes we can provide locked storage by arrangement.
