Trailside Chalet (A storybook chalet with hot tub)

The chalet will put you just steps from the trail for walking/cycling/horseback riding. The space The Trailside Chalet is a completely timberframed guesthouse, designed and decorated in the spirit of an alpine get away. The hosts have taken pride in the atmosphere with their collection of authentic Swiss and Austrian decor. On the main floor, you will find a bedroom with a queen size bed, full kitchen with built-in dining area which opens to the living room with wood burning fireplace and TV (DVD, Apple TV, and Netflix). Coffee and tea provided. The loft has two sets of large bunkbeds with King size mattress on bottom and Full size on top This is listed as bedroom two but there is no door as it is a loft. There is an adjoining entertainment area with Sonos®, cable TV, two large bean bags for lounging and a sitting nook and table for board games. The chalet also has a laundry closet with washer and dryer. The bathroom has a spa feel with radiant floor heat. In front of the chalet is a patio with propane grill and table seating for four. Enjoy your personal selection of music from the porch speakers. WiFi and Sonos® sound system available throughout the property. The hot tub is only steps away and is available most of the year. A firepit with primitive seating is tucked in the woods between the trail and chalet. Next to the chalet are parking spaces for two vehicles. The hosts’ primary residence is close by. Though you may see them tending the garden or the chickens, your privacy is respected. Guest access The entire chalet is available for your use. The attached garage and workshop are not available for your use. Host may use the garage and workshop during your stay but that is an entirely separate entrance. Other things to note Special Note: The owner lives next to the chalet. Please keep this in mind before you book. You may see people walking or horseback riding on the bridle trail which is in close proximity to the chalet. There is no door in bedroom two as it is in the loft. While we welcome young children, you should know the chalet is not equipped with family amenities like a crib, high chair, etc. nor are there child safety features in place (like outlet covers, cabinet locks, corner guards, etc.)
