Summer '25 lake time is here! Relax with the whole family & friends at this private paradise. With 17 acres of fields, forest, brook, marsh, 280' of lake frontage on the exclusive class A Lake Wentworth, hot tub, kayak, canoe, ping pong, spacious western facing deck, bball, gorgeous sunsets, 4 bedrooms, screened in porch for summer dinners with gas burning stove, chef's kitchen, fire place, NEW DUCTLESS HEATING & COOLING UNITS in bedrooms, living room & kitchen, you will never want to leave. The space The two story house plus basement has a primary bedroom with half bath on the 2nd floor with two additional bedrooms (one room with full-size bed and views of the lake, one room with two twin size beds and a queen-size futon couch, and views toward the fields and forest), a central room with desk and lake views, and a full bath. The first story has a chef's eat in kitchen, large living room with fireplace, bedroom with queen-size bed, full bathroom, and a screened in porch with gas iron stove. A large redwood deck, accessible from sliding doors in the kitchen and living room, with teak table, Weber gas grill, and teak lounge chairs provides ample space for entertaining, relaxation, gorgeous sunsets, and even games of corn hole. The deluxe hot tub is at the southern end of the deck nestled among birch and pines trees and full privacy. The basement is for ping pong, late night poker games, and laundry. Guest access Guests will have access to the full house with the exception to a storage closet in the basement and one closet upstairs. Other things to note The house is a perfect sanctuary for writers, bird watchers (numerous birds including a peregrine falcon and bald eagles are regularly on the property), naturalists, lake and water sports enthusiasts, or really anyone just wanting full privacy, natural beauty, and peace. Although any property that has water on it requires attentive parents for small children, the property is a wonderland for children who can run free and explore. The shallow beach is also excellent for small children. For those looking for deeper water, it is best to kayak or swim out to the point. The tennis court is in disrepair and needs to be completely resurfaced but provides entertainment for those just goofing around or wishing to shoot a few hoops. In July and August, Stamp Act Island, run by the Nature Conservancy, is open to the public. It is a 5 minute power boat ride or 15 minutes kayak from our dock. It has a gorgeous beach and beautiful swimming. Bring your boat if you have one or rent one. We use our FourWinns 17.5' boat on a daily basis when we are at the property. On the far side of Stamp Act is the "sandbar" where both kids and adults love to go to play in the water. Wentworth Lake is excellent for both waterskiing and sailing as well as swimming and other water sports. If you like fishing, Lake Wentworth is one of the best lakes in NH and a regular stop on the pro-bass tour. Its rocky bottom and various rock ledges provide excellent homes for small and large mouth bass. Finally, Lake Wentworth is a quiet lake. Public boat access is only made through the adjacent Crescent Lake, which means the vast majority of boats on the lake belong to those who reside on the lake . You are often the only boat on the lake and the Wentworth community is kind and respectful. The Wentworth Association takes upmost care to make sure that lake remains pristine.
