Tucked away on 1.2 acres, you’ll have privacy while still appreciating the convenience of the central location and paved, easy access. With a gas log fireplace, high speed WiFi, king size beds, a fire pit, covered porch, and a spacious floor plan, you’ll have everything you need for a fantastic stay! Dogwood Escape is a one level home with no stairs. It’s central location is perfect for enjoying all the area attractions. It is just moments from the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds and Wheels Through Time Museum. The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is just minutes away as is Soco Falls, the Cataloochee Ski Area, and Tube World. When your first arrive you’ll find a paved, semi-circle driveway with parking for 2-3 vehicles. The road to the house is also paved and maintained for year round access. Dogwood Escape is set on 1.2 acres of land with beautiful winter views and plenty of trees to enjoy your privacy and watch wildlife. There is also a small waterfall within walking distance of the house. A fire pit in the side yard invites you to roast marshmallows and relax in the mountain air. Travel inside and you’ll be welcomed by a large living room with a beautiful gas log fireplace and plenty of seating for friends and family to gather. There is also a lovely screened in porch off the living room with outdoor seating to enjoy the views along with a charcoal grill. Past the living room is a spacious and updated kitchen with a full dining room and a beautiful farmhouse table that seats 6. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining. Beyond the kitchen you’ll find a washer dryer closet, and to the left of that, a spacious master suite with king size bed, Roku tv and attached full bath. The second bedroom is also quite large with a cozy king size bed and Roku tv. There is a second full bath adjacent to this bedroom. Dogwood Escape is hosted by Loriel and Adam of Keaton Cottages, an affiliate of Wander Wagon Tours and Realty in Asheville. Guest will have access to the entire home and property. There is paved access to the house that is maintained all year long as well as a paved driveway. We are available by message, phone or text any time. The house is tucked in the trees on 1.2 acres with winter views and lots of privacy, as well as a small water fall within walking distance from the house. You will need a car to best enjoy the area and all Maggie Valley and the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer. This is one level home with no stairs. Paved driveway and paved road.
