At the end of a dirt road, nestled in the wooded lake, you'll find our cozy retreat. Located on 7 acres of woods, our cabin offers a peaceful retreat to snuggle up or explore the great outdoors. With two bedrooms downstairs and a spacious loft, there's plenty of room for everyone. Accommodations for kids, especially little ones, include bed bumpers, toys, and swings! Ask us anything! We'd love to make your stay comfortable. The space Floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the towering trees and lake! Cozy seating focused on time together in the living room with an electric fireplace. Old time games, cards, and puzzles are ready and waiting for you. Living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms are all on the main floor of our log cabin. The spacious loft has both play space and sleep space for separation - perfect for extended given or chosen family getaways. Private 200ft of beach with dock and non motorized watercraft await out the doors, with a large deck that includes a charcoal and electric grille along with an eating table and a space for conversation. Guest access On the water (about 75 ft from cabin with slight slope), with 200 ft of shoreline to fish, swim, boat, and look out onto serene beauty. Spring and summer fun includes: - Beautiful wildlife in the lake and in the woods, including beavers, turkeys, pileated woodpeckers and more -Play in the water or on the sand - easy access for little ones to get in and out of the water, and sometimes even catch a frog! -Fish from the dock - there are sunnies, bass, and some bigger fish further out -Fire pit with wood perfect for an end of day s'more -Close to the Gandy Dancer bike trails -Low swing for little ones and a treehouse in progress -Breathtaking star-gazing right on the front deck Other things to note Cabonia is a private, quiet gem.
