Stellenbosch family home with lush garden and pool

Comfortable family home with ambiance and lots of character. Our home is located in a secluded street in a peaceful, family-orientated neighbourhood with 24-hour security patrol. We are centrally placed within easy walking distance to the hub of town which hosts popular tourist attractions, inculding trendy shops, restaurants and museums, Stellenbosch University campus and the botanical garden. The space The main house offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two spacious inside living areas with a well equipped open-plan kitchen adjacent to the washing room and attached carport. Treat your family to a braai on the sunny patio while they sunbathe and lounge in the pool, play boles, or simply enjoy the lush and tranquil garden framed with trees, overlooking Simonsberg mountain in the distance. When it is cold outside there are two fireplaces inside to warm you up while playing a game of chess or backgammon. Guest access Our single-level family home offers two parking bays. The property is not fenced from the road's side. There is a one-bedroom flat attached to the main house which is not available to guests. The flat has a separate, private entrance but shares the driveway with the main house. Other things to note Our most important expectation, if you consider booking our home, is that our guests must really love cats allot. Our very friendly tabby cat named Ziggy will keep guests company. Guests will be asked to play, cuddle, give attention and feed her twice daily. Ziggy has a big appetite, but please don't feed her human food. Her food and treats will be provided. Please note - loadshedding is a frustrating challenge most South Africans have learned to navigate! Our home does not have an installed inverter system. We do offer a basic 500 watt back-up portable battery which can be used for charging cell phones or watching television during loashedding. Guests will be informed and guided regarding the loadshedding schedule prior to and during their stay. Solar panels should keep water warm and rechargeable lights and lamps are provided during your stay. Please remember to keep these charged!
