Description

This camp will bring you back to when you were a kid enjoying summer camp with all your friends. Experience the Adirondacks and make memories. Easy walking distance to the beautiful and clean non-motorized Pleasant Lake. Great for swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Out back of camp provides canoe access via canal into Brantingham Lake or bring your own kayak to EXPLORE! So many outdoor activities within 20 mile radius. Ask for the guide! (back canal subject to rainfall/water levels). The space PLEASE NOTE: The camp has a canal out back to canoe into Brantingham Lake. Easy peasy walking distance (about 250 yards) is Pleasant Lake with a shared/private access beach for swimming, fishing and relaxing . OUR CABIN: The cabin sleeps 6, with with possibly extra sleeping on the sectional couch in living room. Great for the family to enjoy! The deck has a patio table that seats 6 and grill available for use. New memory foam mattresses, indoor plumbing, updated bathroom, shower & full kitchen. It's basic, cozy and rustic and perfect for enjoying the wilderness! We do not have potable water since it's a point well (iron may have slight odor), but it's completely safe to bath and do your dishes with. We have 5 gallon jugs available for our guests! The air conditioner is a window unit that is installed in early June and removed mid September. WHAT TO BRING: - Please bring bedding and towels and take trash (otherwise $25 per bag trash removal fee) - Towels for bathing and swimming - All toiletries (shower items, etc) - Extra TP/Paper towels (we do have dish and hand soap and provide 3 rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels) - All food and drinks - Firewood (we USULALY have some for use, please ask) - Paper plates and cups (kitchen is fully stocked, but who wants to do dishes on vacation, great to start your fire later!) - Beach/sand toys and water toys (we have a few under our deck you can use too) - Fishing poles and bait - Mobile phone, tablet - Kayaks (we have a canoe for use) - Extra bottled water, we provide a 5 gallon jug for your stay since the water is not potable LEAVE HOME: - Pets (no pets allowed) - Motor boats and jet-skis (not allowed on Pleasant Lake) - Large electrical appliances (plug-in griddles, electric fry pans, etc. are not allowed.) AMENITIES: - Full kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove, toaster oven, microwave, air fryer, kcup coffee pot & grind and brew coffee pot. - Roku Television - WIFI - A/C and Heat (AC installed from June - Sept) - 1 private bedroom with queen size bed - 1 private bedroom with a bunk bed with 2 full-size beds (sleeps 4 - great for the kids!) - 1 private deck - 1 private backyard with hammock, custom fire pit and fire wood for use (please ASK if we have the wood available! Subject to availability) - Living room with sectional - Table inside for eating - 1 updated bathroom with shower - Outside fire pit, gas grill, patio furniture, ADK chairs around fire pit and folding camp chairs - We provide 3 rolls of toilet paper to start your stay and 1 roll of paper towels - Grill gas is available for use - Fresh bottled water (we provide a 5 gallon jug of water since the water in the sink is not potable) NOT AVAILABLE: - No clothes washer or dryer. You will need to bring all clothing needed for your stay and use clothesline to dry towels, etc. There is a brand new washer and dryer facility about a mile and a half away at Raven Acres! - No dishwasher or sink disposal. Make it easy on yourself and use paper plates, then burn them to start your campfire each night. - No maid. The cabin is not a hotel. We like to keep the rates reasonable. To keep it that way, we ask that you leave the cabin just the way you found it. Remove all trash, empty refrigerator, sweep the floors and tidy up. - Please take trash $10 per bag trash removal fee. PARKING: Parking is right in front of the camp and to the left. There is room for 2 cars. There is the ability to bring your vehicle and a 2 SLED TRAILER. Trailers over 12 feet are prohibited. You can store your trailer @ the Brantingham General Store and pay for daily access, please call them to set that up! Bring your hitch lock. Guest access There is room for 3 vehicles at our camp. A large truck and 2 mid-size would be suitable. A truck witha trailer with an atv or snowmobile would fit as well as a 2 sled trailer in the winter. We have a partnership with a store a mile down the road where larger trailers could reside and you can ride your sled to the camp if staying for the weekend.
