Beautiful Manistee River Cabin/couples/or solo!

2025/FALL SPECIAL PRICING Couples retreat or solo! Even a third person/couch makes into a twin bed..Directly on the Manistee river.....this cabin is semi primitive but has a lot of amenities. Excellent spot for a quiet overnight or weekend !! It’s easy access into the river and is shallow. Great for navigating up and down stream for fishing. You’ll love this spot because of the location and the ambiance. This place is good for couples, solo adventurers, fisherman, kayaks, tubes, canoeing The space The river....the (URL HIDDEN) easy to get in the water at my place. Easy shallow water to walk in and great place to sit in the water with chairs or tie off a float etc. Also close to canoe/kayak/tube rental etc. it's quiet but 5 miles to the nearest store. It’s semi primative. Has electric/ac/ outdoor outhouse/very clean. Also a porta potty inside porch of cabin for those who do not want to go out at night. Your typical rustic cabin. Everything is provided for cooking. Dishes/Pots/pans/gas BBQ with a side burner. Also larger size refrigerator for food. Water is provided for dishes etc. also water is provided for coffee and tea. Outdoor shower/hot water on demand is available as soon as weather warms up. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax then this is it. Feel free to wander around the property. There is state land next door and a boat ramp for drop off or pick up of larger boats/float boats etc. Several drop off/pick up landing through out this area of manistee river and very close to fife lake, lake missaukee, east lake, and 40 minutes from traverse city. Kalkaska has a wonderful farm market called cherry street market. A must see! A wonderful outdoor patio space and a great fire pit! Just a great quiet place to relax! Guest access All grounds on property. Except an area with a camper on it when u r driving in on your right. Other things to note Everything for cooking is there. Pots, pans, dishes etc. a bbq grill and microwave, slow cooker, toaster and coffee/tea station. Water is provided for doing dishes etc. also there is a water dispenser that has hot and cold water for drinking. Otherwise there is a outside water for doing dishes and a outdoor hot water on demand shower when temps are warm. This is somewhat rustic. Has electric, electric heat/AC but has outdoor facilities, i.e. Outhouse. (Very clean). The beds is very comfortable/temperpedic style beds. It has a couch that lays down into a twin bed. Kitchen towels are provided... Linens are provided but u must bring your own towels .I have an outdoor drying hanger for drying your suits and towels. I will provide all paper products and there is a few extra soaps and shampoo bottles if needed. I provide coffee and assorted teas. If upon request I’ll leave organic eggs in the refrigerator. I also provide one nights worth of firewood. There are several places close by that provides firewood to buy. One as close as a mile away.
