Unique year-round cabin! Perfect for a couples get-away or for a family of up to four. During the summer, enjoy a bonfire, kayaking, and outdoor games. During the winter, come back to a warm cabin and play board games by the fireplace after a full day of snowmobiling or other outdoor activities. Dry your winter gear in a separate warming house/game room featuring a pool table and dart board! The space Main cabin: Beautiful cabin nestled on a peninsula where your outdoor activities are endless! This lovely custom cabin includes an electric fireplace with gorgeous handmade tables and furniture throughout. The cabin features two separate decks. The ground level massive entertainment-style deck has built-in seating, cooking station, grill, and views overlooking the pond and firepit. There is also a second upper deck on the opposite side of the cabin, which is located off the main loft bedroom and offers privacy and incredible views of the trees and pond. Perfect place to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise! Property is on 3.85 acers, 600 feet of frontage on a crystal-clear private pond. Two kayaks are provided with life jackets. Game room/ Warming house: The property includes a separate game room/ warming house. During the winter, keep warm next to the electric fireplace while playing a few games of pool or darts. It also has baseboard heating and several wall hooks to dry your winter gear. During the summer, relax on the covered deck with more gorgeous views of the pond! Things to do: ** Public lake access: Nestled between Pickerel Lake and Perch Lake, only 2 miles from Cotton Lake, and 10 miles from Detroit Lake. Plenty of lakes to choose from for all your fishing and sporting activities! Also, Curley’s on Cotton Lake is a great family bar and grill only a few miles away if you don’t feel like cooking (be sure to call and make a reservation to secure a table, it can be a popular place). ** Snowmobiling: Direct access to Minnesota DNR snowmobiling trail 272! Access is located at the end of our street on Carlson Drive. Access hundreds of miles of trails, then park your sleds in the driveway and dry your sledding gear in the warming house/ game room! ** Ottertail tubing (3 miles): During the summer, go tubing down the Ottertail River on a sunny day! ** Detroit Mountain Recreation Area (9 miles): Offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and cross-county skiing in the winter, as well as mountain biking trails in the summer. All equipment available to rent. ** Downtown Detroit Lakes (10 miles): Grab something to eat at Zorbaz or Long Bridge Bar and Grill, or go shopping at the local boutiques. ** We Fest Country Music Festival (15 miles) ** Shady Hollow Flea Market (15 miles)
