Set in the heart of Boscastle, an ancient fishing village noted for its natural outstanding beauty, this lovely 16th century former Inn is brimming with character and history. Boasting many period features including beamed ceilings, flagstone floors, a smugglers window and a salting trough. With it’s sunny sheltered courtyard for the warmer months and interior log-burner, this cosy and inviting pet-friendly house is a perfect Cornish retreat all year round. The space The property is estimated to be around 450 years old. There are a couple of very low doorways as people seemed to have been much shorter back then. The ceilings, however, are a normal height. The ground floor features original slate flagstones and both double bedrooms have a couple of steps down into them. Guest access Guests have use of the whole property and private courtyard. Other things to note The cottage does not have its own allocated parking spot. Free street parking is available about 20mtrs from the cottage. Like most of Boscastle, the cottage is on quite a steep hill.
