House with exceptional views of the rocky bars of the Chartreuse massif! Located 10 km from the Sept Laux ski resort, 35 minutes from Grenoble, this home with atypical architecture will be suitable for romantic couples as well as families and groups of friends. Hiking and mountain biking trails accessible from the house. The space The house is located in a secluded location at the end of a 1.5 km road. The access road is narrower than a usual road (two cars can only cross at 3-4 places) and is located on a mountain with a steep slope (i.e. for those who fear vertigo). The house is spread over several half-levels. The entrance is through the boiler room, where shoes are removed and left before accessing the rest of the house (provide slippers according to the seasons). Underfloor heating on the lower parts of the house. We go down a few steps to arrive in a rather rustic living-dining room with a fireplace (not usable) and a double sofa bed. The kitchen extends this space by opening generously onto the surrounding nature through large bay windows. Like a promontory, a spacious wooden terrace (45-50 m2) invites you to come and stroll and admire the Chartreuse massif. A staircase with a minimalist design provides access to the second living room, very high ceiling, where there is a bookcase, a solid rubber desk, a double sofa bed and a small extra bed if necessary. A few additional steps give access to a mezzanine open to the mountains. A double bed is available. Another staircase leads to the bedroom where there is a double bed and a small desk. Note that this room has an independent entrance that overlooks the path. One bathroom per floor with a toilet in each of them. The master bathroom (downstairs) has an Italian shower, bathtub and large sink. The upstairs bathroom (shower + sink + toilet), very small, is an extra room and is only available when the rental is for a minimum of 6 people. In the village of Les Adrets (1.5 km away), an associative grocery store provides local and organic products. It is possible to come and have a drink in a nice setting, eat there and even take away quality cooked dishes! Other things to note The spaces in the house are not secure (stairs, mezzanine, upstairs bay window, terrace). For these reasons, this place is not suitable for small children. In case of heavy snowfall, the 1.5 km path can be difficult to access (it happens 2-3 times per season). It is then possible to park vehicles in the village and walk the path. Parties with amplified music are not allowed in the house (neighbors in the house next door). As the house is my main residence, all cupboards and cabinets are occupied. There is therefore no storage available.
