Our "Luna" domes @ Missing Hotel are Wes Anderson inspired geodesic domes that will make you feel like you're totally immersed in nature. Wake up to panoramic views of the treetops outside. Enjoy the stars from your hot tub or bed! Say hi to our mini cows, grill a feast on the electric Blackstone Griddle & enjoy sunset dining on the deck. This unique structure is tucked away and arranged strategically to ensure privacy and nature immersion. ​It’s elevated camping with the comforts of home! The space - 304 sq. ft. geodesic dome - Studio-style with queen bed & living lounge - Completely covered portion of dome for comfortable use of the closet area and bathroom - A/C and heat to keep you comfortable in any weather - Ensuite toilet, shower (with hot water) and vanity - Mini Hot Tub (Can be converted to dip pool if you prefer during the summer months!) - Record Player with classic selection to take you back in time - Small fridge, freezer and microwave - Chemex coffeemaker (with instructions) - Complimentary coffee/tea - Electric Blackstone Griddle Guest access In advance of your arrival, AirBnb will send guided Check-In instructions including photos and a map of the property. Other things to note On food: We think cooking outdoors is one of the best parts of camping, and we’ve got you covered! Your unit comes with an electric Blackstone griddle, perfect for whipping up anything from pancakes to burgers. Embrace your inner chef and have fun experimenting with your campsite creations! A few tips for the griddle-inclined: - Think classic: burgers, sausages, steaks, kebabs, etc. - Nearest grocers are H-E-B in Marble Falls (supermarket, 20 min) and Parker's Corner Market in Liberty Hill (local, 15 min) You'll have a small fridge, freezer and microwave as well, but the dome is not equipped with a hot plate or cooking crockery. If you aren’t planning on cooking, alternate food options are 15 minutes away in Marble Falls and Liberty Hill, so we recommend planning ahead for groceries and restaurant dining/take out. Onsite Activities: - Forest bathing aka nature therapy - Self-guided yoga - Ghost stories optional - Get the Bob Ross Package - Hang out with our mini-cows, Elvis and Presley - Learn some bird calls - Build something, anything - Explore a new hobby. Tell us what you’re into, and we’ll help you get started! ** Please note: Cell reception and wifi can be spotty. We're happy to point out the best "phone booth" spots for the former, and we are constantly working to improve the latter. We appreciate your patience as we perfect our little piece of the wild. That said, in the meantime, we do urge you to embrace the option to disconnect when possible. We've found it can be quite liberating to go missing for a little while :)
