This tour is at our farm about 16 miles south of the AirBnB. The cows are not at the AirBnB. For guest staying with us from September through October we would like to invite you to come visit our farm and hang out with our animals. We have super friendly and fluffy Scottish Highland cows that you can pet, brush, hug, feed and take pictures with. We also have 5 fluffy and friendly Great Pyrenees dogs, goats, and sheep. We are happy to provide up to a 1 hour walking tour for up to 15 people at a time. We have miles of walking trails through an organic vineyard, pastures, forests and wetlands. You are also welcome to bring a picnic as well as family or friends even if they are not staying in the AirBnb. Weather dependent and please verify availability before booking*** Now, back to the actual AirBnB....... Perfect for families with kids or big family gatherings. Huge yard, tire swing, saucer swing, hammock swing, old school swing, new school swings, trees to climb, play structure, and room to run, run, run. Private and safe. Adult swings under grape trellis's. Lots of massive beautiful trees provide plenty of shade for those hot days. We built this space as a learning experiment with high end quality custom construction and high efficiency alternative building materials. The finishes, quality, and amenities far exceed what would normally be expected in a space like this. We love this space and believe you will too. From high efficiency black out blinds in the bedrooms to outlets in every room with built in USB and USBC chargers we have worked hard to ensure you have everything you will need for a truly comfortable and restful retreat. Full kitchen, laundry, on demand unlimited hot water, full sets of dishes and cookware, high speed internet, Keurig, French press, assortment of teas..... HUGE 1st floor family sunroom / gathering room / game room / dining area with outdoor front patio area. Stunning industrial trusses with handmade steel plates, real reclaimed shiplap, huge windows and sliding doors bring the outside in! Sit in comfort and watch your family run and play outside on the swings, play some foosball or just relax on the couch. Drink your coffee in the morning out on the deck overlooking the property, maybe catch a glimpse of 'Mortimer' the local buck eating our tomato plants. Or maybe move to the porch swings under the grape trellis, or just walk the property enjoying the apple, pear, plum, cherry, walnut, hazelnut and maple trees. Seasonal fruit and beautiful fall colors. This really is a very rare country retreat in town. Guest access This is a 2nd story apartment. Please be aware there are steps to the private entrance as shown in the photo. There is plenty of parking and a well lit sidewalk around to the stairs in the back. ****This listing is for the 2nd story apartment and the ground level sunroom and patio area**** Feel free to enjoy the whole property, just be aware there are property managers on site full time and there may be other children enjoying our yard. The garage is not available for use. Property managers on site full time. Outside areas under surveillance for children's safety and smoking / vaping / pet compliance. Other things to note We have a very strict no smoking, vaping, or drug use policy anywhere on the property. It may be legal in Oregon, but it is not permissible on our property. This is a very nice quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. Property is under close surveillance for compliance. ***NO PETS*** on property INCLUDING SERVICE ANIMALS. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accommodate service animals due to severe asthma and allergies. There are no animals allowed. We have a medical exemption to exclude service animals. Areas are monitored for compliance. Any pet on the property will result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund and we have successfully charged an additional $500 cleaning fee from 100% of the people that tried to sneak a pet in. We have a ladder safety cover available by request that makes the loft inaccessible for families with small children. Property is monitored and property managers are on site full time. Lewd, crude or lascivious behavior in the common areas prohibited. There may be children enjoying our property at times. Please refrain from interacting with children that are not your own. We are happy to host bridal and baby showers for small groups or family gatherings (15 or less) but if you are looking for a place to party and trash? Move on. We have lots of additional parking available by request and can accommodate RV parking up to 40 feet!
