This house has been in our family since it was built in 1932. The original hardwood floors and 10-foot ceilings feel just like home. French doors separate the living and dining rooms. The dining area seats 6 and the kitchen pub table seats 2. There are 2 bedrooms -- one queen and a double. There is a queen pull-out couch is available in the TV room. A queen airmattress is also handy. The outdoor areas include 2 porches and a carport converted to an outdoor room, providing plenty of choices for outdoor relaxation. There is a hammock, swing, lounge chairs that offer plenty of outdoor seating. Activities include a firepit and horseshoe area. Fishing available from the new dock. Launch your boat at nearby Ingram's Marina. View ospreys, eagles, herons, woodpeckers without leaving the porch. If you are lucky you could see the rare "white squirrel" common in this area. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and property. The property is 1 acre, fenced on 3 sides. Help yourself to any seasonal fruit: blueberries, figs, persimmons, pears, grapefruit, and satsumas. Other things to note This house uses the original skeleton key in one of the exterior doors. It is recommended to place the key in the inside doorlock at night for easy exit. The house is on a high hill and the walk from the lake has an incline. Swimmers beware! The lake is a wildlife habitat and swimming is not recommended. However, it is perfect for boating, canoeing, kayaking and other activities.
