Beautiful single-level apartment ideally located in the heart of the historic district and the pedestrian zone, 2 minutes from the seaside. Recently renovated respecting the history, soul and Cuban architecture so special of the city of Olhão. It includes a large living room composed of a living room and an American kitchen, a bedroom with its vestibule, an en-suite bathroom and a beautiful private terrace. The space I decided to decorate this apartment with quality materials, restoring the original azulejos and ironwork and adding a Moorish touch to create a bubble of fullness for a soothing moment a little outside of time. All this is combined with today's comfort, with quality bedding and reversible air conditioning in all rooms. On one level, it is accessible from the street by a private driveway without steps. However, it is located in the heart of the old town, right next to the lively little streets, shops, restaurants and markets of the largest fishing port of the Algarve and Ria Formosa. After going through the small gate, you enter the pleasant private terrace, covered with traditional Portuguese cobblestones strewn with "Estrella" stars. With a discreet charm, it is ideal for taking full advantage of the mildness and sun of the Algarve, in winter as in summer, comfortably installed around a drink or a meal, whether at the table or in the sofa sheltered under the alcove. Then you enter the main room with its vaults and indirect lighting to enjoy the living room area with its 55" screen, but also to rediscover your inner child with Pac-Man, Super Mario, Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda and all the others from the Nintendo Classic. The large wooden table allows you to have lunch in a friendly atmosphere, close to the fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher (because we have other things to do on vacation...), espresso machine (Dolce Gusto) and much more. Opening the bedroom door, you arrive in the vestibule with the large mirror in the shape of a Sherifian star that takes the name, "Estrella", of the apartment. We finally enter the spacious room with its high vaults and king-size bed (1.80 m x 2 m). The bathroom, accessible en suite, features the typical patterns and tiles of the style. Sheets, towels and bath sheets as well as bathrobes are at your disposal: all the great comforts of a real guest house. A washer-dryer is available in a recess on the terrace to make your life easier. The apartment is also prepared with the essentials for your first continental breakfast:-) No car needed for shopping, eating at the restaurant, enjoying the Ria Formosa and accessing the beaches of the beautiful islands of Culatra, Farol and Armona. The apartment is particularly well suited to accommodate a couple or family with 1 or 2 young children.
