Walkable to small shopping center, Grocery store, restaurants, and a new kids park with splash pad. 3 bedroom house in Avon Lake Ohio. 25 minutes from downtown Cleveland, the browns, the Indians, Jack Casino, Rock & Roll hall of fame, 50 minutes to Cedar Point 1 hour drive to Port Clinton and Put-In-Bay or Football Hall of Fame. Driveway is long enough for boat The space Two bedrooms and full bathroom on 2nd floor and one bedroom and full bathroom on the first. You will love this cozy house that is in Avon Lakes original historic 45's neighborhood. Guest access This is a whole house rental. All non registered guests need to be out of the home by 9:30 PM Other things to note This house is in the historic 45’s portion of Avon lake. The name is derived from the trolley of early years being stop number 45 from downtown cleveland. The-neighborhood, bounded on the west by Lear Road, the east by Westwinds subdivision, to the north by Lake Road, and on the south by Grove Street, was once a vacation place for Clevelanders seeking respite from city life. It was also Stop 45 on an interurban railroad that quit running 66 years ago When out-of-towners came to spend time at their Avon Lake cottages, they would often come on the electric powered Lake Shore Electric Railway, getting off at Stop 45, located at the intersection of Electric Boulevard and South Point Drive. While the Lake Shore stopped running in 1938, the neighborhood still lived on with about 600 modest-sized homes now serving as primary residences, this is a really close-knit community. Describing the area now known as the "Stop 45 neighborhood" or "The 45's" as a "real neighborhood." The 45's is an area where you won't find McMansions," but "instead, small, well-kept homes, on small lots, that line the neighborhood's narrow roads, sans sidewalks and curbs. Large shade trees blanket the community and provide a sense of longevity and permanence. The friendliness among the neighbors makes it "hard to get anything done outside on a nice day. Preserving the neighborhood made up of small homes is something most Stop 45 residents are "happy" about,
