The house is in a 542 square meter lot which makes it very spacious. The house area is 150 sq meters and the rest is open space and garden. The bathroom has it's own garden. All views look to a garden or lawn. House assigned staff, Sharon cleans everyday except Saturdays where other staff Dennis does the cleaning. She is flexible to meet your privacy needs; schedule with her when is the best time for her to come to the house. Dennis maintains the garden. Din-iwd is still the Boracay of the "90's. It has remained as charming as before, spared from big hotel constructions. it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach which enables the guest to get a glimpse of what local life could be. Shopping at City Mall ( 5 minute walk), Robinson’s (10 minute walk) for groceries and wine. At the beach, 2 wonderful places to eat and lounge Dinibeach and Mama’s. Watching the sunset here is sublime. Another good place to eat is Mama's restaurant where they specialize in seafood. Breakfast at Discovery Shores at White beach Station 1 is for a splurge. It is only 5 minute walk to Diniwid beach, then another 5 to hit White Beach for Discovery Shore and Ambassador. Add another 10 minutes walk right at the beach is Station 2 where D' Mall and more restaurants and bars. Trikes costs 20.00PHP to D' Mall and 25.00 beyond there; private hire is 100.00. Individual driven motorbikes would be 50.00 to 100.00. The villa is located on higher elvation. Lots of steps were constructed to make the ascent as comfortable as possible. It was spread out to make it a walking trail instead of climbing. The steps have very low rises, 3 inches. The depth 1.5 feet- 2 feet. The length is about 5 feet. Toddlers to 85 year olds take this rail several times a day. The house has has a lot of sliding doors to maximize the breeze and garden views. So there will be some insects from time to time. Staff will light mosquito coils at 430PM to keep at them at bay. The mosquitoes are active from 430PM=8PM. Please use a naural insect repllent arund this time. Complimentary round trip door to door transfers from Caticlan to house is offered to 3PX to make transition seamless and as smooth as possible. 4th guest will be charged 25.00 USD round trip. Additional surcharge for arrivals after 4PM and early departures. Same whrn using Kalibo airport. Please listen to the stereo system/TV on a low volume. It is a powerful big sound system, so there is no need to make it loud. 10PM -7AM noise restriction observance. Boracay occasionally experiences unannounced power failures. We prefer not to install an electric generator to reduce air and sound pollution. The villa is equipped with emergency lights. We discourage candles and oil lamps since the house has wooden floors in the bedroom and has a grass roof throughout. Your safety is very important to us. Always carry a torch as there is little lighting on the beach and roads. Environmental protection is everyone's concern. Help us protect the island by segregating trash into four containers—plastics, tins, glass, biodegradable. Staff will collect your garbage daily (except Saturdays) Please do not leave organic waste outside, so as not to attract animals. The villa is equipped with a safe deposit box for your convenience. However, the staff and owner of the villa do not take any responsibility for lost personal items. Please have an awareness that this is still a third world so lock up valuables at night and when out of the house. Any loss or damage to the property shall be charged to the damage deposit. Please refrain from removing any household items from the premises, including bath towels. Please do not take them to the beach. We offer free laundry service exclusively for the bed linen and face, hand, and bath towels. Please hang your personal laundry to dry in the enclosure at the back of the villa. We can wash personal items for 250.00PHP per load. Security deposit of 2,000PHP/44.00USD to be handed to Sharon, staff for safe keeping. It is going to be returned 100 % if there is no damage and breakage. The owner shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, death or theft incurred during a guest's stay. RISK OF LOSS AND INDEMNIFICATION Guest agrees that all personal property, furnishings, personal affects and other items brought into the Property by Guest or their permitted guests and visitors shall be at the sole risk of Guest with regard to any theft, damage, destruction or other loss and Rental Agent shall not be responsible or liable for any reason whatsoever. Guest hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rental Agent and their agents, owners, successors, employees and contractors from and against any costs, damages, liabilities, claims, legal fees and other actions for any damages, costs, attorneys fees incurred by Guest, permitted guests, visitors or agents, representatives or successors of Guest due to any claims relating to destruction of property or injury to persons or loss of life sustained by Guest or family and visitors of Guest in or about the Property and Guest expressly agrees to save and hold Rental Agent harmless in all such cases. You must also acknowledge Must climb stairs - There are steps to climb before arriving at the villa. They are very comfortable. They are are a 3 feet wide, riser 5 inches. Amenity limitations - Toiletires not provided. Guest prefer to bring their own so they feel more at home.
