Miners' Retreat--Quiet 1880s home

Miners' retreat built in 1882 as part of Leadville's historic mining district. Newly remodeled kitchen and bath--enjoy a cool industrial/mining vibe to match the location! We host a fully stocked kitchen, two standard bedrooms, and a bonus room for additional guests. Enjoy easy access to both trails and downtown Leadville in this cozy home away from home! Leadville STR License #04960 The space Easy walk to down town and open space. Hiking trails and the paved Mineral belt trail are close by, as is the historic Matchless Mine. Great treed yard overlooking the largest Mountains in Colorado. Plenty of room for your bikes and ATV'S. Mosquito pass is just up the road! There is a queen bed room. Kids room with bunk beds and an extra room with a full daybed separated by a heavy curtain. Full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas range in a full kitchen. Outside there is a fire pit with grill to enjoy in the mature aspen trees. Sitting high on the east side this house has great views! Enjoy all the comforts of home while playing in the high country. We welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners. Guest access We are located six blocks from downtown, but our house sits away from other houses, so it really feels like you get the best of both worlds. We have a great little open backyard where you can hang a hammock in the summer, and on-site parking in the back. Other things to note We welcome pets and have a small fenced area for them to run. It has a 4 foot fence that is not currently secured at the bottom (that's in the works this summer) so please use your judgement on leaving your pet there unsupervised. It may not be accessible in the winter, depending on snow.
