Great location for summer activities, (hiking, biking, fishing etc)The Casita is a unique guest home on a 3 acre parcel, We are neighbors to the property as well. The area is very quiet with open space . The location of the home can't get any better as it is walking distance from the village of Arroyo Seco, and about 10 minutes from TSV, and 15 minutes from Taos Plaza. When you walk into the home it is a cozy casita with beautiful views. 2 Night minimum One bedroom one bathroom casita (approximatley 600 square feet) nestled near our families homes. The living room space has a full size futon.The space has a small kitchenette, (coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, pots, pans, utensils electric 2 burner hotplate, refrigerator and microwave) Outside of the Casita is a private outdoor area to enjoy the views. This is great in the evening time to enjoy the sunsets. The space can accommodate up to four people however, it would be tight fit. The house is best for couples, or couples with 2 children. The home decor is unique to the Taos area with beautiful local art work that occupies the space. The home has accents of cedar in the trim and ceiling in the home which gives a light scent of cedar in the home. Private parking area and entrance to the casita. WIFI and basic channels on DirectTV. The casita is walking distance to The village of Arroyo Seco where you can get, groceries, wine /beer/spirits, and a unique shopping experience. There are also a few restaurants where to eat. We live on the three acre property lot and are in walking distance to the home. We are available if assistance is needed with the casita. I am happy to provide any information about the area if needed. Also, please be aware that we have heavy equipment on the property and we move this equipment on occasion. We are mindful that we have guests and make efforts to mitigate any noise. The casita does not have a washer and dryer however, I am happy to wash/change out any of the items from the casita only during your stay. The neighborhood is spacious quaint and quiet. The View from the Casita is on large acreage and beautiful mountain view with some occasional cows feeding off the land. We also have a family of wild rabbits that live around our homes. Hondo-Seco road is a great road to walk, jog or bicycle around. Our family, has been apart of this community for generations and we are happy to welcome you to the area. It is best to have your own transportation. We are located about 1/2 mile from the village of Arroyo Seco and is a beautiful walk to the shopping area. We are about 15 minutes from Taos Plaza and about a 10 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley. There is a a bus route in the area however, the walking distance to the bus is quite a ways. Information on the bus is in the welcome binder. Taos also is new to Uber, and a local taxi service. We also have a commuter bus during ski season that will take you directly to the Ski Valley from a designated parking area. The home has a welcome packet that includes has thoughtful information about the area. I have local hiking guides in the casita as well.
