The space The property is tucked away in one of North Vancouver’s most sought after neighbourhoods: Pemberton Heights The suite feels like a duplex, and consists of two above grade levels wrapped in windows at the entrance. The owners spent 3 years living in the suite and have optimized the space for comfort, enjoyment and function, including adding air conditioning. The kitchen was renovated in 2021 and is well equipped to make almost any meal. The massive island triples down as meal prep space, a big eating area, or work from home during the day. There is also in-suite laundry and bins for all recycling and garbage. The living room, along with the kitchen are on the main floor and has a comfortable couch to relax and toss on the TV, or read a book with a cup of coffee. The main bedroom has a queen bed, build in closet and a dedicated workspace. The second bedroom has a massive built in closet unit and a queen bed. The head of the bed is tucked into the window bay, so you can look up to the massive cedar trees at night. A full bathroom separates the two bedrooms and is equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Your own private patio backs onto the driveway with free private parking for a mid-sized vehicle. The patio has a bistro table and chairs bordered by rhododendron trees, shrubs and a privacy screen. A lockable storage shed is also available for skis/snowboards, equipment, bags, strollers, etc. It’s a lovely place that we’ve enjoyed living in for years. We now live in the main house and are available to help at any time, but we will respect your privacy and leave you be. We hope you enjoy your stay! Guest access There is a free parking space directly off your front door. Access to the parking spot is via a lane (will send specific instructions). Additional (free) street parking is also available for secondary or larger vehicles. Other things to note Great North Shore location, with easy access to BC Place for FIFA, but still outside the city, allowing you to have a peaceful escape and be close to nature. The suite is within a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Vancouver or if you prefer to take public transportation it’s a 5-10minute walk to the express bus stop that takes you directly to downtown in 15-20 minutes.
