Uniquely private location, down the peninsula in Harpswell. Perched on the rocky shore. Open ocean, crashing waves, distant islands, birds and breezes. An uncluttered classic Maine home in a remarkable location. Walk to local cove beach. Secluded. Flanked by two shingled homes only visible through the trees. Two large decks, one covered. Guests and neighbors do swim off the rocks at low tide, but it looks precarious to me. Lounge on the rocks in comfy chairs or just never leave the decks. The space Five bedrooms and three newly renovated modern full bathrooms, all with walk in showers, waterworks fixtures, and honed marble tile. There are three upstairs bedrooms. First is large with a king bed, private full bath with huge walk in marble shower and oceanside seating area with Serena and Lily swivel chairs. The second is also large with a king bed and a twin brass bed. The third is a small bedroom with full bed. All have high end firm mattresses. No memory foam! Percale 100% cotton sheets, down pillows and comforters. All have individual AC and quiet ceiling fans. The downstairs large suite has a queen bed, twin and full bath with walk in shower, plus private deck entrance. The fifth first floor bedroom is small with a single bed. Charming fully outfitted kitchen with all new appliances, including dishwasher. A second fridge is steps away in the laundry room for extra provisions. (new XL washer & dryer) Dining area with views. Living room with wrap around views. (non functional fireplace) We ask that guests take short showers and only as needed. This is a typical Harpswell well and best to be used just as needed. The water is tested, but we like to bring our own drinking water. Important: Please do not wash any of the house sheets and towels. We send these out to conserve the well. Guest access This is a small community of cottages. Each cottage has its own discrete communal path to the rocks. which may or may not be traveled by a neighbor during your stay. Other things to note Important: Please do not allow animals on the furniture or beds even if it is covered. Not at all. Important: We ask that guests take short showers and only as needed. This is a typical Harpswell well and septic that are temperamental and best to be used as needed. General house expectations: please do not strip beds, or pile wet towels on floor. We will happily take care of these things. Important. Please do not wash any house linens or towels. We send those out to conserve the delicate well and water system. Please wash final load of dishes and please don't leave food in the sink. We can empty the last load if there is not time. Please remove all trash from the property. No need to separate any trash. Our contracted pick up will take care of that. Smoking is allowed outside. No pot please. The smell is too strong for the neighbors. Please take a walk for that. Please use coasters on wood surfaces. Dining table is not pristine so no worries there.
