Swedish Mountain Lodge

Welcome to this newly-built mountain cabin near alpine ski slopes, cross-country trails and hiking trails. Car chargers are available and departure cleaning is included in the price. When there is snow on the terrain, it is possible to ski to and from the slopes. You will find Storhogna trail center just nearby. Storhogna is well known for its cross-country skiing opportunities. Snowmobile trails are also found in the area. Summer, autumn and spring, when the ski slope is closed, there are magnificent nature experiences and lots of activities nearby. The space The apartment is 87 sqm on two floors and is part of a semi-detached house. It has an open kitchen with a large dining area, armchairs by the fireplace and large high windows overlooking nature. (Wood can be bought in the local store). The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 6 people. Blueberries grow just outside and here you can sometimes see reindeer roaming around. There are 3 bedrooms. One on the upper floor with a double bed and a view. And two on the lower floor with bunk beds. The upper floor has a living room with a large sofa and TV as well as a workplace. From the living room, it's open down to the kitchen. The TV is connected to Google TV. There is broadband Wi-Fi. The hall is spacious with plenty of room for clothes and boots, as well as a drying cabinet. There are two separate toilets. In the bathroom there is also washing machine and dryer. There is a sauna with room for 4 people. Some details that we know many appreciate: Sparkstötting, Moccamaster, Waffle iron, Blender, Board games, Induction cooker, toaster, kettle, electric whisk, iron. Outside there is a lockable ski storage room. There is also a patio where you can enjoy nice days. There are two parking lots belonging to the cottage and an electric car charger. (Eways halo, 3 phase, type 2 with fixed cord). It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Storhogna M with restaurant, activity house, bowling, gym, sports shop, ski rental and convenience store. If you walk 15 minutes in the other direction, you will reach Storhogna Högfjällshotell & SPA with two restaurants, SPA treatments, swimming, ski rental, a winter garden and various activities. The slopes in Storhogna offer nice skiing in nature snow both above and below the tree line. You can easily get to and from Klövsjö's more challenging slopes with the transport lift. With the bus "Snöpendeln" it is also easy to go to Vemdalen or Björnrike. The lift card is common for the pistes in Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet, Klövsjö and Storhogna. Storhogna offers activities all year round. During the winter season, various activities are organised, such as ski school for downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, snowmobile tours, dog sledding and ice climbing. Since 2006, Storhogna Högfjällshotell has been an official Vasa Race Centre and organises a variety of camps and courses in cross-country skiing. During spring, summer and autumn, you can, for example, enjoy fantastic mountain hiking, golf, mountain biking, kayaking, bird hunting, horse riding, fishing and, not least, hiking on many wonderful hiking trails. Autumn is a fantastically beautiful season with sweeping views and lovely colours. Smoking or pets are not permitted. Guest access The entire apartment is rented out.
