The space With a signature interior design, our guests enjoy: - A keyless entry to a fully decorated apartment. - The ample living room that's accompanied by a fully fitted kitchen. - Two spacious (lower and higher) terraces that are perfect to look over stunning sunset/sunrises. - Two comfortable, quiet, and spacious rooms. (King and Queen size beds, respectively) (Each with separate bathroom). - Easy and safe outdoor parking. - A short walk to town (15 minutes) and 5-minute cab up (please read our "getting around"), and for the more adventurous, a 5-minutes’ drive to San Miguel's botanical gardens. - And other amenities listed, such as a pool and a sauna in the complex (shared space). Guest access You'll have full access to the apartment, all amenities provided by the gated community, and convenient parking. Please do consider that some public amenities (such as the use of the pool) require a reservation, reach out to us, and we'll gladly get your sorted. As a policy, Melancholy Hill and its hosts reserves the right to schedule housekeeping/gardening for visits over two weeks. We will call/text to schedule timely visits with our trustworthy staff. For those who don’t know, and even for those who do, On Melancholy Hill is a song written by the Gorillaz that debuted in their 2010 album “Plastic Beach”. The real meaning or theme of the song is in contentious debate, but we chose to name our place Melancholy Hill because we believe it allures to the experiences in life and the moments during travel. It’s a song that talks about the desire we have for things we can’t get and how we find respite from such things in temporary moments. We believe this house, and San Miguel, can offer a breather for all and from all. Please enjoy yourself and the people that surround you.
