Serene and Cozy Cabin

This comfy wood cabin built in 2019, is just what you need to get away from the constant distractions of urban life. Unplug and soak up the sights and sounds of nature, breathe and relax. Nestled on a beautiful hobby farm, the cabin is a short 3km bike ride or drive to the beautiful shores of Lake Huron and the town of Port Elgin with it's unique shops and eateries. The queen size bed is on the main floor and the loft provides another sleeping space or storage. The space There is limited cooking capabilities with only a fire pit and propane BBQ. The cabin does not have any power. Although it does not have a permanent heat source, a propane heater is available that takes small camping cylinders. There is a compost toilet outhouse located a few steps from the cabin. Depending on the evening there may even be a yoga class you can join in, a nature walk or beautiful sunset. Note: There is no power or running water in this cabin. The nearby outhouse and shower facilities may be shared with other guests. Guests are required to provide their own bedding/blankets/sleeping bags/pillows/etc. Other things to note You should know that there is no power at the cabin or wifi, making it easier to unplug, unwind and relax without techno-distractions. The shower is seasonal so may not be in service during cooler seasons.
