*Niagara Cottage Escape* at Vine Ridge Resort

A private, spacious, well-stocked, clean, bright, cottage conveniently located 15 minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake and 20 minutes from Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls, We’re just minutes from golf courses, hiking and biking trails, shopping, restaurants, and of course award-winning wineries, cideries, and breweries. Guest-controlled AC/Heat, Netflix, Wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, outdoor fridge, private patio and more! Guests have full access to ALL the resort amenities and activities! The space Located in beautiful Vine Ridge Resort on a completely private lot with views of the neighbouring vineyard! Perfect for all. A family fun escape packed with a giant slash pad pool, smaller pool, basketball, kids club, and special events, OR escape for a romantic wine country getaway. Sleeping Areas: Master bedroom: 1 Queen Bed Bedroom #2: 1 Single top bunk bed and one double bottom bunk bed (Note: There is no ladder for the top bunk) Living Room: One sectional sofa, an additional blowup air mattress available under the bunk beds. What makes us different? All beds are fully equipped with clean, fresh linens, pillows, and comforters. All beds have a bamboo mattress protector and pillow protectors on all pillows. No extra linen fees and you don't have to bring your own! The Kitchen: - Fully equipped Kitchen including Blender, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, BBQ utensils, everything you need! - Kitchen table with leaf (in the master bedroom closet) and four dining chairs - Place settings for eight (Dinner Plates, Side Plates, Bowls, (Corelle), high end Cutlery) - Wine glasses, coffee mugs, drinking cups, plastic cups - Additional garbage bags, dish soap, and cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink. The Patio: - 40' hard top awning with deck and BBQ (propane and utensils provided!) area with prep table and storage. - Outdoor bar fridge for cold beverages. - The deck has two rolling gates that enclose the space. Perfect for pups lounging on the patio or children playing safely. - Sunshades for privacy/comfort - Outdoor Sunbrella sofa sectional and ottoman (TONS of seating!) - Dining table with six chairs, cushions, and lumbar support pillows. - Picturesque vineyard view and birdwatching! Pets: - We are DOG FRIENDLY! - No, we don't charge additional fees for your dogs! Why would you pay extra?! - The patio is perfect for letting your pup lounge, giving additional space - We provide 2 stainless steel bowls, waste bags and a water/food mat for dripping tounges. - Please have your dog on a leash at all times while roaming the resort/off the deck. There are many visiting pups that are frequent walkers. Cottage Entertainment: Colouring books, Reading Books, Games, Deck of Cards, DVDs with DVD player, TV, electric fireplace, Netflix, WIFI and more! Towels: One towel per person, per reservation will be provided. Towels are to remain at the cottage and are not designated for pool/outdoor use. We recommend bringing beach towels for the splashpad/pool areas! Fire Pit: Ready to use! Firewood can be purchased from the welcome centre, local shops/farms. We do not supply firewood, but there may be some from previous guests by chance. Small Pool and Large Splash Pad Pool: Operating hours to be posted. Typically, Splash Pad Pool open all of July and August. Small Pool June-End of September. Please inquire before booking if you are coming for the pools! Keep in mind for Niagara Area: Neighbouring farms release loud popping-like sounds to scare the birds from their crops. This is all over the Niagara-On-The-Lake and unfortunately out of our control. This typically occurs in the late summer/fall months. Playing some music helps! - LARGE SPLASH PAD POOL OPEN JULY AND AUGUST ONLY - SMALL HEATED POOL OPEN MAY 15-OCTOBER 15 We have a small herb garden of chives and oregano. Please help yourself! Guest access You will be able to access the ENTIRE resort and the entire cottage! We keep one cupboard locked with our personal supplies, the rest is yours to use (there's TONS of storage!). Look around in the cupboards when arriving, lots of useful hidden gems! Resort Policies: - ALL guests must be registered before your stay (ID and Vehicle Plates must be provided). Additional visitors will not be permitted. - We will ask for the names of all visitors and your license plate number prior to your stay. This information will be registered with resort security, who will provide you with a temporary gate pass for the length of your stay. Whether you are looking to rent or own, Vine Ridge Resort offers you the all-inclusive resort amenities you’re looking for, in the most picturesque and private setting. Things to note: 1) Hot water. The cottage has a trailer-sized hot water tank. Please allow at least 30 minutes between showers for the hot water to replenish. The best practice we have learned is to rinse, turn off water, soap and rinse to help speed up morning showers. 2) Laundry. To access the paid laundry cabin, a reservation must be made at the front desk. A time window will be provided for your use. 3) Garbage. Please discard any garbage or recycling in the large dump bins, located beside the laundry cabin. 4) Need anything? The main office has tons of items from groceries to ice cream! Feel free to shop! 5) Resort Speed Limit: This is a very children-friendly resort. A 10 km/h speed limit is STRICTLY enforced. If caught speeding, a $200 fine will occur.
