Chic Queen Anne Retreat: Dream Kitchen & 2-min Bus

Welcome to our softly-lit North Queen Anne sanctuary. We designed this unit to give you the best of Seattle: a quiet retreat just minutes from the city's energy. In our classic boutique building, we’ve blended retro charm with high-end comforts. Whether you’re here for a match or a PNW getaway, you’ll love the gentle daylight, private balcony, and curated interior. We are steps from local cafes, grocery stores, and direct transit to Ballard, Downtown, and Capitol Hill. Stay with us like a local! The space Because the condo is north-facing, the natural light stays soft, cool, and consistent all day long, making it a perfectly calm environment to return to after a busy day out. Kitchen & Rituals: We take our morning coffee seriously, so we set up a station stocked with fresh beans from our favorite local roaster, Lighthouse Coffee. You will find pour over tools and a MiiR Moka Pot for a rich brew on the stove. The kitchen itself is sleek and fully equipped for real cooking, including an Our Place Wonder Oven for air frying or roasting without heating up the entire unit. There is also a proper dining area so you can sit down and enjoy a real meal at home. Living & Workspace: Our favorite spot in the house is the lounge chair facing the retro fireplace; it is the perfect corner for a glass of wine and a good book. The living space also features a comfortable sofa, a large TV, and a dedicated workspace for when you need to plug in. Rest & Refresh: The bedroom is outfitted with blackout curtains for a quiet night of deep sleep. In the morning, refresh in a bathroom updated with a modern vanity and mirrors designed for an easy start to your day. Guest access The Entrances: You can enter via the main entrance on Etruria Street or through the alley side (where the trash and recycle bins are located). The Walk-Up: Please note the building does not have an elevator. You’ll climb two flights of stairs from Etruria Street, or just one flight down if you enter from the alley. We find the extra privacy and the beautiful natural light on the second floor make the short climb well worth it. Laundry: Free washer and dryer are on the ground floor. If you enter from Etruria Street, the laundry room is immediately to your left. Other things to note Getting Around: Parking: Your stay includes a dedicated, covered parking spot, a rare and convenient find in this neighborhood. Transit: You really don't need a car! A 2-minute walk takes you to direct bus lines: Downtown / Pike Place: ~20 mins Stadium District: ~25 mins Ballard / Capitol Hill: ~20–30 mins Our Neighborhood Favorites: We’ve lived in this corner of the city for years. Here are our walkable go-to spots: Two Kick Coffee (3 min walk): Our daily local shop; they actually serve the same Lighthouse Coffee beans we provide in your kitchen! Byen Bakeri (5 min walk): An absolute must-visit for authentic Scandinavian pastries. Kin Len Thai Night Bites (15 min walk): Incredible Thai street food with a fantastic happy hour vibe. Tavolàta Stone Way (25 min walk): Where we go when we’re craving fresh, handmade pasta in a great setting. Building Stewardship: We love our neighbors!
