Private entry to nice private bedroom and Full Bathroom with shared Laundry, Common area Small Kitchenette, full size fridge, Living Room with a large screen TV, The area is only used by you but since Laundry is located in the same area scheduled laundry days myself or Bus Tenant. You will have full use of a covered patio, firepit, BBQ, Hot tub, She Shed, and fenced in yard. Please make sure you read the full description before booking. :-) We are in the country and surrounded by farms. PLEASE make sure you read full property description before booking. Also unfortunately due to a past guest we do have what seems to be a lot of rules but most of them should not have to be a rule and 95% of people would not act this way in someone else's home that they are a guest in. I have also placed a manual in your space that talks about the area, places to eat, and things to do. You will also find brochures in your space for some fun weekend activities. Lots of great walking trails and outdoor activities in the area. Great local restaurants nearby (you will have all the necessary items to cook in your space but there is NO kitchen sink at this time so doing your dishes requires you to use the bathroom sink unfortunately just like you would in a hotel). We are also located close to hospital, amazing hiking trails and shopping. We are located in the country and surrounded by farmland so you will hear the neighborhood roosters around us and in my bird sanctuary say good morning and the ducks like to talk when they get treats or someone walks by them. I do not free range them unless I have no guests or I have guests the would like to hang out with them. We are also located on a country road but the house is solid concrete so the road noise and bird noises while inside is very minimal. But when enjoying the outside spaces you will hear birds, dogs barking, trucks and motorcycles cruising by. The area you are renting, you are the only person living there, but the bus Airbnb guest and the owner does need to pass through the common area Living Room/kitchenette to get to the laundry so we ask that you always keep your personal items in your private room and keep that common space picked up. Your private bedroom and bathroom are recently remodeled and have only been used by a few guests during that time so they are like new. Please note that you may occasionally hear cats racing around in the middle of the night or the dogs once in awhile if they get excited to go for a ride. They tend to race for the door but the owner will always try to keep that noise to a minimum. There are 2 very friendly and social large breed dogs on the property so you must be an animal lover. There is a dog park less than a mile away. I allow pets but, I work from home during the day. If you plan to leave your pet during the day and want it to interact with my dogs I do offer Pet Sitting for $35 per day per pet or there is a doggy daycare down the road. Please don't just leave your dogs in the yard all day if you are out and about. If the pets bark or scratch at the doors or get destructive from separation anxiety then please use a local doggy daycare and don’t leave them here. This has been a problem in the past. ALSO PLEASE NOTE: We have a flock onsite ( Ducks, Chickens and Turkey's) in their own fenced in area so you will need to make sure your pets do not enter that section of the property. Please go with your pets while they are outside. We also have a pond with Koi and Goldfish and this area is also fenced off. Please see photo's for more info. Outdoor spaces are a work in progress to continually improving so you may see the owner working on the pond or putting finishing touches on the outdoor pizza oven or working on some other summer project. Owner spends a lot of time outdoors improving the property daily, especially during the summer months planting flowers/trees, watering the gardens, and doing yard Maintenance. You will have one assigned parking space outside of fenced in area on the street. We live in the country so expect to hear a rooster once in awhile. We ask that door remain closed due to keeping out farm bugs and flies. :-). We are very close to lots of great restaurants, shopping, hiking, and activities. There is bus stop nearby if you choose to ride the bus instead of drive. We are close enough to walk or ride a bike to our main street or grocery stores. There are a lot of local breweries and wineries in the area that hold summer music events. Please make sure you read the house rules section. If you have questions about them feel free to reach out. Also if you have pets please read the below things to note. The garage, one room downstairs in basement and upstairs residence is off limits to guests, no exception. There will be signs on doors of area’s that are off limits. The School Bus is rented to other Airbnb guests and off limits as well unless you choose to rent that space as well. I live upstairs and only go downstairs to basement apartment only on scheduled laundry days or to grab personal items stored down there. Your room is your own private space and I will never enter that space but you may see me in the common area living room/kitchenette space or laundry room. You may see me on the deck or in the back yard from time to time. I have two large dogs that will spend time outside on nice days. I work from home in the upstairs portion of the house that has its own separate entrance. I spend a lot of time working in the yard and improving the outdoor space by building a pond, weeding gardens, watering flower beds, planting plants and trees, building pizza oven, creating spaces for guests to enjoy. The kitchenette does not have a sink so washing dishes needs to be done in the bathroom sink. I do provide a separate drying rack for your dishes. I require guests to read full description as well as house rules prior to booking. Property is close to hiking, walking trails, bicycle trails, dog park, great restaurants and close to Hospital. Wonderful quiet community and easy drive to salt water and multiple lakes. Enjoy activities in the area like Tulip Festival, Whale Watching, Day excursion to the San Juan Islands, enjoy a day at one of our many lakes like Baker Lake, Clear Lake, Big Lake, Lake Campbell, and many more. Close to LaConner, Bow, Chuckanut Drive, North Cascades and Bellingham. There is a bus stop near by but driving is easy since there isn't much traffic. Easy to bicycle all around Sedro Woolley and surrounding area's. If you bring a dog (no cats are allowed due to expensive leather sofa that was used as a scratching post previously and couch was just replaced) there will be a $250 PER adult dog deposit and I will need to steam clean carpets and furniture for the next guest so I will refund only $150 of each deposit at check out. If you require dog sitting I charge $35.00 per day but if it is during a work day and they are vocal or destructive they will need to go to one of the areas doggy daycares . I also travel for work so there will be days I am not available so having a relationship with a doggie daycare is not a bad thing. Also if you have extra vehicles or people there will be an extra charge per day per person and per vehicle. All people staying or visiting the property must get prior approval if they were not listed during your booking (no exception, this is a safety issue for current and future guests). There is 1 day a week assigned laundry day only for guests staying 7 days or longer (you must provide your own laundry supplies), you will have the choice between 2 days. If those days don’t work there is a laundromat nearby. If you require additional days there will be a $10 additional charge. See house rules for additional info.
