Get cosy around the fire this winter and enjoy the three sunny terraces & garden space during the spring/summer. Perfect for a snowy winter escape or an active summer break filled with hiking and road/mountain biking! Ideal for those visiting Brides-Les-Bains Thermal spa. The space This mountainside cabin provides the perfect serene getaway spot. There is ample parking for 2 large cars just accross the road from the house. A gateway from the quiet road gives access to a superb , large sunny patio , perfect for coffee outside in the morning sun or dining in the warmer months if wanted. The cosy living area , situated on the top floor of the property, invites lots of sunlight through the doors that lead to the south facing balcony. A wood-burning stove will keep you warm in winter. A small kitchen leads off from the this area. It contains oven, microwave and dishwasher. Stairs lead down to the house bathroom and double bedrooms 1 and 2. Please note that bedroom 2 is accessed via bedroom 1. Bedroom 2 also has a door which leads out to one of the terraces. On this floor there is plenty of room for ski boots and hanging for damp ski clothes. There is a washing machine and drier here too. On the bottom floor of the house is a separate apartment that is rented separately. Not accessible in this rental. Guest access The main part of the house will be available to you. Nobody else can use this space. There will be one bedroom locked, out of use and the lower floor will be out of use as it is rented separately. The closest train station is in Moutiers. There is a 15 minute walk to the ski bus that will take you to the Brides-Les-Bains Olympe Gondola. Other things to note La Pitchounette is a lovely, no frills house which is owned by someone who loves the mountains and has immense regard for the environment. Most furniture and furnishings are pre-loved. Why replace functioning things just to look good? There is composting on-site. The house is supplied with a green energy tarif & there is no oil or gas.
