Great American Getaway

This sweet 1950 bungalow is a perfect getaway spot for a family get together, a friends’ weekend rendezvous, or a "base camp" for those house hunting in the region. This three bedroom house is all yours with full kitchen, living room and game room and is right around the corner from Watts Bar Lake. Enjoy relaxing on the deck out back after a day on the river. Play some cornhole. Do some grillin’.  If you want to spend a day in the “big city”, Knoxville is only a half hour drive. The space This unique property was put together to provide the vacation experience. Have fun or just relax, it's up to you. There's a game room to entertain kids of all ages. We have magnetic darts, Foosball, and connect four. You can also take the Cornhole outside and play in the yard. If you just want to relax we have a newly constructed deck to chill out on. Then there's the water attractions all around. Turn right off of our street street and you'll find Kingston City Park 0.5 miles down the road. There you can swim, picnic, launch a boat or jet ski or walk the path that encircles Watts Bar Lake. Turn the opposite direction, 10 minutes drive is Lakeshore Recreation Area with acres of land to roam around on and multiple water access ways. The day trip possibilities are far too many to list here but just ask us and we can point you in the right direction! We absolutely love this area of TN and love to share what it has to offer, and the house itself is designed to part of your Great American Getaway. Guest access The entire house yours. Other things to note We are happy to accommodate one dog with prior approval and the additional fee. The back yard has a fence but it is not doggie proof. Guest are expected to poop scoop throughout their stay and dispose of it in the outdoor trashcans provided. Only well trained, small to medium size dogs will be considered.
