We acquired this property after visiting Keowee Key in 2020 and discovering all the area offers, including the amenities of an upscale country club, as well as the natural beauty of Lake Keowee and the surrounding area. Gorges State Park, Caesars Head State Park, DuPont State Forest and the Pisgah National Forest are all just a short drive. Unlike many other man made lakes, trees were removed before the lake was filled eliminating this as a boating hazard. Duke Energy maintains the water level on a much more consistent basis than some of the nearby Corp of Engineer lakes. Don't forget the must see downtown Greenville, SC area which is within an hour drive. Keowee Key is a gated community featuring a George Cobb 18 - Hole Championship Golf Course and many other amenities, including: Leisure Trail- 2 1/2 mile flat, picturesque walk/jog around the lake.
