The Saarschleifenland is particularly well known for the Saarschleife, an impressive river loop of the Saar near Mettlach. The scenery in this region is characterized by forests, hills, apple orchards and vineyards. Hiking trails with spectacular viewpoints, bike paths along the Saar, boat and canoeing on the Saar, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts end up in the region in an ever-increasing number. It is also a popular destination for wellness and health tourism. There are several spa resorts and spas where you can pamper and relax.​ Modern vacation rentals await you: Our vacation home was opened in 2022. In 5 individually high-quality furnished apartments and 1 holiday home, couples, families or groups can accommodate up to 8 people. Dogs are welcome, a dog shower with hot water and dry towels is available for them. Each apartment is complemented by a closed terrace, a garden or a balcony. For the outdoor area, outdoor furniture, loungers, and chairs with pads, umbrella, and a charcoal grill are available. A charging station with electricity from the photovoltaic system is available for electric vehicles. Bikes and e-bikes can be safely parked and loaded in a separate room. ​Relax in the wellness barn: Our vacation home is complemented by a 750 m² spa resort. This has everything that makes their stay memorable and unique. In our wellness barn there is a salt water pool measuring 8m x 3.75 m and depth of 1.55 m, which is heated to 28 degrees all year round. Here is also a large sauna for up to 10 persons for up to 10 persons, a shower with a bog and a pub shower, as well as a beautiful relaxation room for the cold days.
